Cemeteries are the most peaceful places on earth. I enjoy strolling through them, acknowledging the lives of those who walked before me.|
In addition to photographing graves, I spend time in cemeteries contemplating life, mulling over problems and praying. They have a way of reminding me to keep an eternal perspective.
Feel free to use any of my grave photos for your own personal use, but please ask permission before posting on another website. Thank you.

I just found some information on Elijah Chaffin on Findagrave. I am in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana and trying to find out some more information on Elijah Chaffin and where he settled here around Corvallis. Do you have any more information and are you related to him? Please let me know

Have you had a chance to follow up with local headstone maker?

I totally agree and appreciate your kindness!
|Phil & Kathi||Joseph Adams|
Thank you for the photo! Should I assume he doesn't have a stone?

In The book "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in Western Montana - Anatomy of a pestilence", Robert N. Philip says: "on a gravestone in the present Corvallis cemetery is the inscription: 'Jonas Williams, age 21 years and 14 days, died May, 19, 1873' ".
This is your photo!
I'm studying spotted fever, and wish to make a small homemade video about the disease, to post on you tube.
Can I use the image of your photo?
From s. Paulo, Brazil.
You can use any of my Find A Grave pictures as if they are your own. I will also send you out-of-the-camera fine jpeg's if needed.

I just claimed your request for Charlotte Otto at St Peters cemetery. Sorry to say, I could not find a headstone. There are several stones that I could not read. It is a very small cemetery that I have searched on two occasions. It's very quiet and peaceful surrounded with corn fields. You ask for a photo of the church. The church is down the road a half mile or so I'm guessing. I could email those to you.
