I've been doing genealogy off and on for years. I found that cemetery research is another tool to use when you have hit a dead end. My son and I try to get out to local cemeteries a few times a week in the Stark, Summit, Carroll and Wayne counties in Ohio. Right Now we are hitting some really old cemeteries in Southeast Stark and Northern Carroll County.|
Some of the family names I am searching for are Powell-Indiana County, PA
Wallace,Malfair-Centre County, PA
Hout-Wayne County, Ohio.
I have no problem transferring memorials to relatives or making corrections and updates. If you need a photo from my collection feel free to use. I know I use quite a few headstone pics for ancestry.com.

Michael Warner was born in 1792 and died 1/11/1869. I am looking for information on his sife's maiden name. Do you have a copy of the death certificate or infomration on his index card that I could have to prove his wife's name. It was Marie (or May) magdena Slaybaugh (or Shelbach) etc. Thanks for any help.

You are welcome and thanks for your response. I am certain they are buried where I placed the markers. Many stones in this cemetery were laid flat on the ground. Over time the sod has grow over them. I would like to probe the ground and uncover them but the caretaker will probably not appreciate holes in the grass. Metal markers might have been in place and were lost or stolen.--Storres

Markers for Lewis and Carrie Wallace in Union Cemetery, Bellefonte, PA can not be found. Cemetery records have Lewis Wallace, no dates, and Wallace Mother in Lot 1107. I placed a floral bag on Lot 1107 and photographed it from four directions. I hope this is acceptable. This is the only Lewis Wallace listed in Centre County Pennsylvania.--Storres

Did you connect them? I had no idea there were children next to them. Thank you! Could you send me the link? Thank you.

Thanks for looking. I know Samuel's buried there, but I'm not holding out much hope on a legible stone, if any.
