I inherited the genealogy bug from my mother. I ran across F.A.G. while trying to find information on ancestors. I believe F.A.G. is a wonderful site to find missing family links.|
When photographing, I go row-by-row. I am not a greedy request-claimer who will go out, take a single pic, and run back to post it. From a genealogy perspective, I want to know if there are other family members in the cemetery that I may not already know of. Also, if someone has previously posted a pic of the headstone and I get a better one (I am using a HD camera), I will add mine as well.
If you would like me to transfer management of a memorial, please send me the request, and your relationship to that person. I try to transfer to family members if possible!
***** If you send me a message stating "this memorial is a dupe, please delete," please make sure the other memorial has at least as much information and pics as the one in my control. Otherwise it will remain as-is!!!
****If you would like me to add an obituary to a person, you MUST provide me with citation information!!!!!!!!

A friend told me about this chance a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent edits to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy
New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013
Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you.
Then just review and accept.
Way easier for doing updates to names / dates / places / plot #s.
You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section or do linking.
|Donald E. Lovejoy||Wilson Lee|
I have the names Lee and Larowe (LaRue) in my family living in Lenawee county, Michigan. I found Wilson and have been able to find many of his children (Garret, Edwin, Reuben and Wilson).
I find it interesting Wilson Lee died in 1859. Stephen and Livera (Lee) Read had a son born in 1851 named Wilson.

Thanks for such a quick response. The article about Jacob said he and Priscilla had 7 children yet her sister's 1805 court case said 6 so I was wondering if there was a 7th. But you have named six so the 6 must be correct.
I notice only Vincent and Bennett are connected to Jacob. Are the dates for the others unknown? Please feel free to email me directly at
firstname.lastname@example.org Just put Strickland or Seagraves in the subject line and I'll open it.

Hi, I'm a Strickland researcher and I noticed that you stated you were connected to Jacob Seagraves who died in 1835 Bond County, IL
I am wondering if there is a family bible that list the death date for Priscilla Strickland and perhaps names her 6 or 7 children.

Thank you so very much Melissa for transferring my Aunt and Uncle's memorials to me. I was very surprised when my Uncle came along with my Aunt. You are a true Find A Grave volunteer and do with such love and caring. I will take very good care of them and THANKS for initially putting them on. God Bless and THANKS again.

|Alan Eugene Koch||Arthur Moredick|
Thanks so very much for transferring Arthur to our account.
The Moredick family is an important part of my ancestry.
I meant to say Fairbury Cemetery, not Elmwood. You are doing wonderful work.
