May I use your photo of Springer Cemetery? I will be sure to give you photo credit. If you prefer I not, it's no problem!

We truly appreciate you transferring Millage Nelson. Thank you for creating and maintaining his memorial page.

Thanks. Still know little about Rebecca. I do know that Michael Smithpeter(s) was married to Sarah (Sally) Drew in 1831, and that they lived together in 1850 on a farm in Beaver Creek valued at $3000. In 1852 Michael married Rebecca Lockwood. In 1860 Sarah was living alone on the old farm, and Michael and Sarah were living on a farm in South Crouch Township valued at $12,000. Michael and Rebecca had other personal property valued at $2400, which I expect was mostly horses.

Thanks for your work, Kyle. It has really helped me. Just recently became a member. I am the: Grandson of Owen and Ruby (Smithpeters) Kern, Great Grandson of Joseph & Bedie (Lasater) Smithpeters, the Great-Great Grandson of Michael and Rebecca (Lockwood) Smithpeters. I have some information on the Smithpeter(s) family going way back, but very little on the Lockwood family. I'm thinking that Rebecca's father was probably J.C. (John?) Lockwood (1840 Census lists 2 females age 15-20), and may be the John Lockwood referred to as a "Whig candidate" in William Bryant's "Early Times in Illinois" (1871). Wondering if you've found more info on the Lockwoods. Thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for creating the memorial page for my grandmother and then transferring her to me. I am very grateful for it.
