Bio

I grew up in a small family with just my parents and a younger brother. I always enjoyed riding horseback and hiking in the mountains with my family. I was fortunate to have both sets of grandparents who taught me a love of family history. After graduation from high school, I took Cosmetology and worked in that profession until I married. I raised two sons. As a girl, I always wished I could have lived in the Victorian and Edwardian times, as grandmother Place did. Her wedding picture was taken in Mexico in 1905. She was riding sidesaddle. She taught me to ride aside in 1967. I am a Living Historian/Re-enactor of the 1860-1890's era. My hobbies are making my period clothing and accessories. I have also ridden on many General Crook trail rides in Arizona, sidesaddle, of course. My time has been taken up lately helping my mother, Nancy E. Brown, with photographing and indexing the cemeteries in our county. I am also a genealogist and researcher. I love to research the people that I put on F/G, in hopes that their lives will not be forgotten and will not be just a number. If any of my information is incorrect or incomplete let me know. I will be more than happy to make the changes. Or, if you want to do your own bio on a family member, please let me know.
If you would like a transfer, I DO NOT do demands! I will consider nice requests.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT death certificates, newspaper articles or copied material on the photo memorials! If you have researched information to add let me know. Thank you.
