|Janis Babb||AMANDA M BABB|
Mary, I was glad to find Amanda Babb along with several other family members in Woodland Cemetery. However her husband is supposed to be buried there also, but his name does not appear. It is Peter Smith Babb also dying in 1899. Someone doing research on the Babb family took a picture of his stone and said it was in Woodland. There may be more Babb's in this cemetery and not listed. Could you please check on this fact and get back to me. Thanks, I am
Janis Webb Babb
|Dave||RE: Emma Ellen (Paxson) Steward|
Unfortunately I have several birth years for Emma.
Another family researcher (Richard Diehl) has posted a date of 12/19/1865; Emma's Death Certificate shows 12/14/1871 (while calculation based on Date of death and age agreees with Richard's); and 1900 Census shows 12/18/64; and of course the headstone shows 1866. I'm heavily inclined to discard the 1871 date, but the 1864, 1865, or 1866 are all possibilities with her younger sister (Sarah Belle, my GGM) being born 10/1863 and her older brother (Samuel) being born 10/1867.

Thank you Mary Moore for taking the time and energy to photograph my relatives tombstones. You have been a big help in my research of my family ancestry.
Thank you again for your kindness.

Mary - many thanks for the photo of John Creager's stone! Much appreciated! Do you recall, was there any type of veteran's marker next to his stone? Have a great summer and thanks again! Jean
