I'm an Ardmore, Oklahoma resident and enjoy spending my extra time researching, taking pictures and remembering those that have passed.|
MY JOY IS TAKING PHOTOS. I'm not really into adding or maintaining memorials, unless they are related to me. So if you would like one of my Ardmore memorials transferred to you, please click on the transfer button. I'd be more than happy to send them your way :)
- ROSE HILL CEMETERY PROJECT: I am a volunteer at the Rose Hill Cemetery. My personal goal is to provide the cemetery with a photo of every headstone. Then, we will link each digital photo to their resident's file. They have more than 17,000 residents, so I will be working on this project for years... lol.
(( I AM A MEMBER OF ANCESTRY.COM, so if you are related to me, or have any info on my relatives, please, let me know. I would love to share my findings with you ))
- FAMILY PROJECT: I have been working with my mother for years, compiling data for the Kennedy's, Tates, Thompsons & Burgetts. I am merging a lot of what we have over to findagrave.com. Most relatives are from Georgia, Alabama, Missouri, Virgina, West Virginia & South Carolina.
- FAMILY PROJECT: I have been working on my father's side for only about a year now. Surnames: Bell, Cole, Loomis. I am compiling data and placing what i have on findagrave.com, as well. Most relatives are from Michigan, Texas & Indiana.
I don't have any family buried in Oklahoma.
I am OCD when it comes to data, so everything I post that is provided to me, I reference the person's name or their FAG #, on the memorial. I don't like taking credit for other people's work. And secondly, I wouldn't want to have my name posted on something that I hadn't verified myself. =) Accuracy is important to me, esp. when my name is attached to it. =)**

Hi Angela, I just wanted to say thank you very much for fulfilling the photo request of Coy Crites. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, I have been out of town for most of the past month. Would it be okay if I used his photo on my private family tree? I really appreciate all the work you do!
Thank you for taking the time to locate and photograph this marker. I really appreciate it!

Thank you so very much for the transfer of Rachel Coonfield to my account. Rachel was one of my grandfather's sisters.
I will take care of her site. Thank you for taking an interest in the transcription process and documenting the cemeteries. It means a lot to researchers such as myself that will never get to a distant state to visit the Gravesites please let me know if I can help in any way here in Texas..

Thank you for the photo of his marker.
I would like to request permission to use it, giving you credit, on ancestry.com, if you do not mind. If you prefer not to give permission, that would be fine also.
Thank you again. Good job. And many thanks for including how to find the grave.

Re: W.H. Glover
Angela, I cannot locate the "transfer button" you mention. Where the heck is it?? I'd like to have this Find A Grave entry transferred to me. There's also a duplicate, #20164075, mis-named as William Harrison Glover. His name was actually William Henry Glover. I have sent a msg to the creator of #20164075 giving correct data for Glover; most of the data listed for him on this entry is correct, except for some of the names. E.g., his wife was Mary Elizabeth (Lindsey) Glover, #16606678, buried beside him. In my msg, I also gave names of their children who lived to adulthood. His wife Mary Eliz. Lindsey was sister to my great grandfather, Selden T. Lindsey, also buried Rose Hill #9547696.
Thank you, Gloria Reck, #47206933.

Thanks so much for the picture of Lena's grave. I didn't realize her kids used the Segroves name for her headstone. I guess they wanted her buried side by side as their Mom and Dad. Your work is much appreciated.
