Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very actively pursuing family information. I maintain an Ancestry.com tree, and my brother and I have family photo sites on Smug Mug, where we display the photos we get from family members and kind souls who share on these programs in hopes of preserving and sharing them with all families who need them. It occurred to me when going through my mother and grandmother's huge trunks full of photos that it was sad for one family to have all those treasures and not share. And, so began my many, many hours of scanning and sharing photos and information.

I also enjoy visiting other memorials and cemetaries and adding flowers, pictures or data to memorials that have no information, or very little. My husband and I walk through cemetaries quite often, and find the headstones so interesting. I love adding to the history of these people, and it grieves me to find one that says "unknown" on a headstone. Genealogy has become a true passion.

My lines are Duncan, Mather, Dodson, Smith, Moore, Bullion, Curtis, Whitehead, Barron, Reid, and you know how that goes - many more! I am happy to share information and photos with those seeking help, and so very much appreciate all that is shared with me.

I live in the Hill Country of Texas, am married, and enjoying retirement.

Please feel free to use my information and any photos I have posted. I do not understand the fuss about using someone's photos. If they are sacred and personal, then don't post them, is my philosophy. We are all here to help one another and share for this and future generations. So many photos get lost in fires, animals getting into boxes, etc., so why keep them private? After we are all gone, our grandchildren and gr-grandchildren will someday be searching for images and information, and if I took it with me, they would be left at a loss. There are so many members in my family who suffered fires, floods, tornados, and other losses. But, at one time they DID have a photo of "Great Uncle John", however, now due to some unforseen circumstance, it's lost forever..... Think about it.

God bless and and Happy Trails..

We went to the cemetery and could not find the grave; it was listed as Plot Row N6 Grave #4. We could not find it. Is there anyone or anywhere that I could look up where this should be located in the cemetery? Any help would be appreciated so much.

John E Johnson, Mills County
Sent you an e mail asking clarification on how the birth location, death location, nickname, parents of John E Johnson (Find A Grave 105452167) was derived. If he was married to Alice Sommerfeld as stated it is incorrect. Will share correct information once this is established. My parents and us kids were personal friends on the family. Thanks alma
