Bio Photo My goal is simply to make a photographic record of monuments honoring the lives of our loved ones. If I have posted a photo you find objectionable, let me know what the objection is, and I will remove it. If you have a better shot, let me know and I will cheerfully remove mine. Sometimes I post some pretty bad photos! ;-)
Good hunting to you!

Elizabeth Nicholson
I got the information for this burial from this website:

It doesn't include burials from Ardwick Cemetery.

There is another website that has some burials for Ardwick Cemetery here:

and there is one for Elizabeth Nicholson b. 1867 d. 1869. Looks like you need to pay to get more information on a piticular record.

Hope this helps.

I'm not taking the links to spouses off - they just seem to disappear on certain memorials. On one memorial I have linked it at least 5 times and the next day I'll go back and its gone. A few time it has taken at least 2 goes to get the link to stay. I'm beginning to think it is a fault with find a grave. I've also had people contact me about duplicate copies of entries being made and when I delete 1 copy they both disappear so that I have to reenter them and re add the photo. As for putting the age in the notes its just a standard that I use because most of the memorial I've added myself I dont have photo's for them just their information and I needed to put it somewhere. Thanks for transcribing the photos for me. I just dont have the time at the moment but still have a lot more Photo's to add

Thanks for Fort McPherson Photo
Thank you for posting the Fort McPherson photo for William Matheny #129804010 - last year, but I just now noticed when I was reviewing some files. You are correct in the Unknown Marker assumption. He is known to have been originally buried at Fort Laramie, but his remains were moved when cemeteries were consolidated. Even before then, wooden markers had become unreadable. He was my great-great-great uncle.

Hi Amy,
Thank you so much for posting the beautiful picture of Edith's marker at Fort McPherson!

I am thinking that the Fort McPherson one is a memorial stone, and that she is still in the original cemetery.

I would like at this point to keep my memorial for her here, and to keep the picture you added on the memorial page too.

John Daniel Thomas Morgan
Good afternoon,

I have some questions in reference to John Daniel Thomas Morgan's information.

I am a descendent of Emily Luvenia Hill Morgan. She is my great great grandmother. I have census records that show that John H Morgan was my grandfather. However, it's listed on her site as John Daniel Thomas Morgan being her husband.

I was hoping to get some clarification as to which is correct. I have an 1870 census that shows John H. Morgan with a child being John T Morgan.

Do you have any additional documentation showing which is correct?

Thank you for your time.

May we have permission to use your tombstone photo in our family tree on line? If so, do you want photo credit or not? Thank you ahead of time.

Hi Amy,
Thanks for the heads up. I moved the memorial to Fort McPherson. The only issue would be if they didn't and just added her name to the marker. Another couple(from North Platte) were buried in Hershey. They removed the marker from North Platte, but didn't move the grave. They just added the infants name to the new marker. Depending on how the infant was buried, there might not have been much to rebury.
Thanks again for your help!
