RE: Arthur Sears Radtke
Hello Pat,

Thanks for getting back to me. I guess I'm still a bit confused about the California connection. And now New York? He's got to be the same Arthur Sears Radtke that was born in Minnesota in 1936, attended the University of California in Riverside in the 50's, and died in Santa Clara County in 2004, leaving an estate. Otherwise, it's just way too much of a coincidence that there are two of these guys with the same names who lived, were doctors and died during the same time.

I really appreciate you taking some of your time to get back to me. Any additional information always helps.

Hi Pat,

I see that back in 2010, you posted a picture of a North Dakota headstone of one Dr. Arthur Sears Radtke. If this is the same Dr. Arthur Sears Radtke that lived from 1936 to 2004 and passed away in California, then I'm very curious to know if you are aware of any way to get in contact with the person who did the engraving of the headstone. That person may be aware of any potential heirs of his estate.

I'm a bit confused as to why he was buried in North Dakota of all places, albeit he was born in Minnesota.

Hi Pat,

You were correct about Joseph Duchateau, his full name is Simon Joseph Duchateau, my 2nd great grandfather. He is buried with his 2nd wife, Josephine Dubois Decremer Duchateau, my PATERNAL 2nd great grandmother.

His first wife was Marie Catherine Esperance Brise, my MATERNAL 2nd great grandmother. She was the oldest sibling of Sister Adele Brise.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

After responding to your message, I went back to look at the pages for Marilyn & her family. Is there a reason why Ralph shows up as only a half-sibling? I hadn't noticed that before. He's not linked to his dad.
