|Judith Meahl||Thomas George Gilmour|
Want to thank you for putting Thomas George and his wife in at findagrave. His parents are my 2xgreat grandparents Thomas and Ann (Pickman) Gilmour, buried at the City Road Cemetery in Sheffield. Here are their numbers should you want to link him to his parents and sibblings - Father - Thomas Gilmour #149062770.
Mother - Ann Gilmour #149062941.
Thank you again - Judith Meahl.
I feel the same way
Thanks you so much for the photos and the additional information. Are you a Buck relative or a Sheffield researcher?
Thank you so much for taking the photos of the graves and adding the info you found from sheffieldindexers! I really appreciate it!

|Bandana Girl||Question on the New family|
I am distantly related to Betsey Morton, wife of Chas Dixon New and son Francis. The picture is of one tombstone, which I can not read...are all four people buried there? (In other words, is that stone that large?) or is this from records at the cemetery and this stone is representative of all burials? Betsy's big brother came to the US in the mid-1800s and so finding her is a thrill for me. I have a letter from Charles Dixon New...ivory cutter.

Thanks for your quick reply Phil. I was all excited thinking I had another relative! I have been in touch with Marilyn Law for years now, so I am her source for hundreds of names in the Sheffield area. Thanks once again, and happy hunting.

I notice that you left 'flowers' and a message on grave of Joseph Tankard (1870-1939), and wondered if you are in fact related to him. He is my grandfather, so wondered if we are related.
Thanks so much!
