|I live in Wilton NH (and less than a mile from Lyndeborough NH). I am happy to help with any photos/information I can. I enjoy working on my own family genealogy, but my ancestors are all from the South. I am grateful to others who have posted photos and information to assist in my searches.|
If you find that photos I have taken do not have enough detail, or if you desire more information on any of the memorials, please contact me. I also have access to quite a few New Hampshire town histories, many of which include genealogical information. I am happy to help fellow searchers in any way I can.

Thanks for posting this photo. My husband is just getting started doing his genealogy. Ruth is his great aunt. Do you mind if we use your photo on our family tree? Thanks, Jenifer Blood

Hi Mary Ann, Thank you very much for the "great photos" of both of their headstones. I truly appreciate them!
Thanks My Friend,

They are both listed and honored on the below webpage:
|Ruth Hundley||Orrin Blood relation to Francis|
Wrote a note and then found your info as to Francis
being Orrin's grandfather...
Would love to have some first hand info on this line of Blood.
I am working on collateral lines and am not direct here, but still add on all I can.
My Blood, Sybil mar. into Barrett and the mar. to Olin and living in Canton, NY.
Please to give a yell,

Hi - I added Captain Hutchinson and referenced the info from the Wilton history. OK? (plus I got carried away and added more.)

I am glad you are cross checking with town history - I have a cd of it - and should install that and check on it as I work on the headstones - I think the more we write on their bio (like what you just referenced about Orrin/Orin) - will help us or someone else in the future as more headstones are inventoried. You'll get sick of me yet!

Yes - I looked to far down the marriage certificate to the spouse's parents! :oP Good thing I stepped away from the computer shortly there after, so I didn't make more mistakes! Got out to Laurel Hill despite the rain for a little while today - dogs needed to get out anyways :0)

Thank you Mary Ann.

You are so right about the lighting up at vale end - but it was a really fun way to spend this beautiful weekend and I needed a break from the brick walls I am hitting with my own family genealogy. I am at a point where I need to take some LONG drives to get first hand data on my own family line - and thought this would be a fun way to use my genealogy resources for local history. I live just two houses away from vale end, so found myself walking the dogs up there at different times to get the lighting - would love to help you with the wilton cemetery project and thank you for introducing yourself!
I am at town hall monday afternoons working on voter checklist data (I am a supervisor of the checklist)...and am happy to do/get anything needed while I am there. I too am comfortable at the library as a former trustee, who worked extensively with historical society on the recent renovation of their rooms. I am guessing Jo W is Joanne Wadleigh on the Vale End pictures/info? I couldn't piece together any of the other names.
There is the man Dave Palance from Milford who recently (2012?) conducted a survey of Vale End - I saw an article on him in Milford Cabinet - do you know what he did with his data and where it is kept?
So you may have noticed I have a date generating software tool, which makes it easy for me to look up birth years based on date of death/age listed on headstones - do you want me to continue to help fill in the birth year/months for the headstones you have inventoried?
It really is fun to piece together Wilton history doing this project - and it has also been very sweet to visit headstones of friends husbands while I have been up there as well. Makes me feel even more connected to them.
Again, happy to help/meet/whatever...keep me in the loop and let me know where I can be of assistance! It might even be helpful to meet you at vale end some time so you can show me there area you've inventoried and what you know still needs to be done.

All for corrections handled - thanks for suggesting the family links - I haven't researched that branch of the family.
