The stone photo suggests a military star next to it. Would you have any idea--War of 1812??

RE: Charles A. Anderson
I have your Anderson pictures except for April. There was no marker for her. I also have Mineola etc.

RE: Lockrow headstone
Actually, not as surprising as you might think. Since so many jurisdictions did not require birth certificates, dates for births were often fuzzy over time. Midwives often filed them in NYC so error could occur there. If it wasn't filed, and the family was not literate, keeping tract of the correct date could prove problematic. If the family had many children, the dates could be blurred and finally, the person who gave the information for the death cert/stone order could have been misinformed. Today we are obsessed with document verification. It just different times.

One more thing. If you wish pictures of Anderson headstones, maybe I can help. I don't know how close you live to the cemetery.

FLUSHING CEMETERY
It is quite beautiful, especially in the Spring. Unfortunately the section my parents and the Henschels are in is not maintained very well, ruts, weeds and sinking stones. I have complained many times without success

I did find this one but I would have no idea if she was related to you:

I believe I had sent you other pics of Andersons at Zion but you said they were not relatives.
