I am a licensed athletic trainer, originally from Madison, WI. I spend a lot of my free time doing genealogy & caring for old family photos. I also collect antique books, tintypes, ambrotypes and daguerreotypes. |
These are my main surnames of interest- please contact me to exchange info/photos: Mayville, Diebold, Star[c]k, Walsh, Hurst, Tice, Walter, Emmerich, Hess, Hagemann, Brandmueller, and Liebenow, among many others. I have also worked extensively on documenting in Wisconsin the entire lineage of Starck emigrants from the city of Orenhofen, region of Trier, Germany.
Check out my Brick Walls. Maybe you can help!
Please credit me if using my photos elsewhere!! This includes Ancestry.com, your personal genealogy page, etc. I don't mind if you use photos, just please cite your source!
Please submit any additions, corrections or transfer requests via the "edit" tab on each individual memorial.
I have no problem transferring as long as they are not my family; however, I do not support "memorial collectors." The goal of find-a-grave is not to "own" memorials for each member of your family, but to make sure each memorial is as accurate as possible.
*I do manage about 300 extra memorials, which were transferred to me by Scott W. prior to his passing, so that I may maintain/transfer them as appropriate.
My most meaningful work on Find-a-grave are the cemeteries I have fully photographed / transcribed. These cemeteries are special as I am related to many buried there:
-Lawrence/Cady Cemetery (Brown Co., WI 2006-07)
-Saint Louis Catholic Cemetery (Caledonia, WI 2009-10)
-Fairview Cemetery (Greenleaf, WI, 2010)
-St. James Catholic Cemetery (Oak Creek, WI 2010)
-Saint Mary of the Lake Catholic Cemetery (Westport, WI, 2012)
and the following portions of Resurrection Cemetery in Madison, WI:
Section 1, Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7
Section 3, Blocks 11, 12, 13, 21, 22, 23, 31, 32, 33 & 42
Section 4, Block 13, 21 & 22
I have photographed the following but haven't uploaded yet:
Section 2, Blocks 5, 6, & 7
Section 4, Blocks 11 & 12

|John P Campbell||Irvin and Bessie Dugan Photos|
Irvin and Bessie Dugan were my late wife Carolyn A Campbell's Grandparents on her father's side. Her mother is still alive and is 94 years old. Thank you for the photos of Carolyn's grandparent's headstones.

Thank you for adding Robert - I didn't have him on my list so will need to do a little research in my family history books to see where he fits in. Again, A BIG THANK YOU for your help! Mary
|Carol Zastera Michels||Thomas *Gilbert* Steich|
Thank you for the great photo, and for catching the middle name error.
|Donna D. McGinty||katherine Byrne Lacy|
Jade- Wow, thank you, thank you - you have gone more then the extra mile for me and my family. I can't thank you enough! Everyone has been so helpful and considerate, makes you feel good inside. I love pulling families together, even if they are the ancestors of cousins.
Great work -
|Mary Erickson||Dale Fose|
Thank you, Jade, for responding to my request for a copy of Dale's stone. I really appreciate your help! And THANK YOU for being a volunteer. Mary
Jade...Thank-you so much for the picture of Clarence and Dorothy Fose headstones.
|Carol Zastera Michels||Thomas Joseph Streich|
Thank you so much! I have a special affinity for little ones who never had a chance to live. God bless you.
|Donna D. McGinty||RE: Barry stone|
Kevin called me back - no written record of Kathryn Byrne Lacy but there is a written record of a stone (with no information) he found the other family members and thinks that stone might be Kathryn - however he has not been out to check. I gave him my email address - we were playing phone tag.
I have lots of family from Madison and Fitchburg - in process of going through my genealogy and seeing who I am missing tomb stones. But, no new names at this time.
Thanks again for all you help and patience.
