Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Chicago, Illinois and am working on records for my father's and mother's families primarily.
I enjoy taking photographs of grave sites for photo requests. My priorities are sites with a location provided then by request date. Many places have requests that are several years old. You are welcome to use any of the photos I post as you wish. Requests for photo files or transfers are welcome. Email rlerch000@yahoo.com or use the edit tab on a memorial.

Please provide a location in the cemetery for your photo request. Contacting the cemetery is usually successful at obtaining a location. Info about the presence of a grave marker may also be available and is helpful. Locating unmarked graves can be very difficult.

If you want a photo of mine removed from your memorial, or have higher quality photos than the ones I posted, please feel free to post them, then let me know, and I will remove mine.

Oak Woods Cemetery ~ Gail Ward
Greetings from Oklahoma, thank you for the information regarding needing a location for Gail Wards grave that I requested last year. I did call the cemetery today and received the location (section, lot, grave) and added it to her memorial with the cemetery map outlining her location. I also deleted my request and posted it again with a note. Again, thank you.

Frederick K.Maus 1846-1911
I seek contact with the MAUS family, and want to know whether Frederick K. Maus was involved in moving 19th century rotunda panoramas (50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons). The F.W.Heine diaries 1879-1921 have many references to MAUS, but no first name. Chicago was the center of rotunda panoramas in USA, which in 1893 had 6 companies and 6 rotundas. Info to share.

Dear Susan,

We received your inquiry regarding the burial of Magdalena Schneider and also other Schneider family members.

I find Magdalena Schneider buried in Lakeside Lot 181 Grave #2 I also found the location of all of the other Schneider names you sent in your request. Buried in the same lot with Magdalena are Daniel S. Grave #6 and Samuel N. Grave #3.

Below are the burial locations of the following:

Benjamin Schneider Lakeside Lot 135 Grave #1

John T. Schneider Lakeside Lot 298 Grave #1

Johannes Schneider Edgewood Lot 157 Grave #3

Since you are related to Magdalena Schneider, you may have a copy of the lot card. The fee is five dollars which may be sent by check after you receive the copy. I will also send a map showing the cemetery location.
this is where I obtained info. thanks for trying
