Welcome - |
We are doing a holy service by remembering the dead, and preserving history.
I think we all have a piece of the puzzle and if everyone contributes, questions will be answered.
please note - FINDAGRAVE as the name implies is a grave registration site and NOT a genealogy site. Although it can be very useful for genealogy.
This a wonderful site for remembering people. Peoples lives are fascinating and they deserve to be remembered and documented.
Please remember we are not just entering names or stones, but real people. Please ask yourself if your memorial is search-able. All memorials should have last names. Women who never marry, and children don't have maiden names. There is no maiden name unless the name changes. Also please do not use ().
Please do NOT create duplicates.
If you notice any mistakes, please let me know, and I will be happy to fix them. Nobody is perfect, we are all fallible human beings mostly doing the best we can at the moment.
We are merely stewards of 'our' memorials - we manage them and are entrusted with their care and maintenance, but we do not technically 'own' them.
Please read the FAQs (frequently asked questions). Thanks, and please try to resolved unknown burials ASAP.
Please free to use any of my photos with appropriate citations. Will also add updates, -the more info, the better. I don't have a policy about transfers - ask and we can work it out.
"A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always." (author unknown)

Your memorial page for the above person should be in the United Methodist Church Cemetery in Succasunna, NJ, not the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Succasunna, NJ. The two churches are right next to each other and they share the cemetery in the back. The person overseeing the cemetery told me that Ellis Cox is on the Methodist side. Joan S.

My apologies that the memorial I entered has not been completed within your time allowance. An appropriate and dignified biography will be added when my schedule permits. Thank you for your interest and patience.

Thank you Donna, that means a lot to me, to hear, aka, 'see' you say that. ^_^

Just want to say thank you for the transfer. I wasn't expecting it, but thank you. I hope that my edits and all the information and what I said did not upset you. Some people enjoy the messages and all the information & stories, and some don't. Understandable. I never know who to share it all with and who to hold back on, so I just take my chances. In doing this on findagrave, sometimes too much information is better than not enough, do to not knowing what to believe for doing updates. I know that I like knowing the whys and hows of what people seemingly know.
Anyways, thank you for all you do,

Thank you for making the edits to the Maurers so fast! Your bio is well said and I appreciate all the work you do. I'm working on a family tree for that family to connect them to my Maurer family so I was really happy to see memorials for them. As I find more information I may request some more edits. All the best.
