Welcome - |
We are doing a holy service by remembering the dead, and preserving history.
I think we all have a piece of the puzzle and if everyone contributes, questions will be answered.
This a wonderful site for remembering people. Peoples lives are fascinating and they deserve to be remembered and documented.
Please remember we are not just entering names or stones, but real people. Please ask yourself if your memorial is search-able. All memorials should have last names. Women who never marry, and children don't have maiden names. There is no maiden name unless the name changes. Also please do not use ().
Please do NOT create duplicates.
If you notice any mistakes, please let me know, and I will be happy to fix them. Nobody is perfect, we are all fallible human beings mostly doing the best we can at the moment.
We are merely stewards of 'our' memorials - we manage them and are entrusted with their care and maintenance, but we do not technically 'own' them.
Please read the FAQs (frequently asked questions). Thanks, and please try to resolved unknown burials ASAP.
Please free to use any of my photos with appropriate citations. Will also add updates, -the more info, the better. I don't have a policy about transfers - ask and we can work it out.
"A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always." (author unknown)

You're welcome and I've added my photo to Paul's memorial. It was really hard to get the writing on the stone to be legible. :-)

Thanks for the info on the brackets. I wasn't sure how to show other married names, but since I can't use those, I guess I will just leave them off entirely. Appreciate the input.
....I appreciated your making a memorial for the infant. That clarified how Margaret died..probably from "child bed fever" a month after the baby was born.

This came from a published book. I only have info from death dates from 1893 to 1960. Send me a private E-mail if you want to discuss it further TonyChiofolo@gmail.com

Thank you for taking the time to get this headstone photo for me. I appreciate it.

I can see you have been the guardian for this cemetery and I have obtained their cemetery records so you will be receiving requests to add death/birth dates. I just wanted to give you a heads up in case you were wondering where I obtained this info. Keep up the good work.
I always transfer family members memorials. I hope it unlocks some blank spots in your family.
