Bio and Links
Bio Photo It is so much easier to be nice than all knowing and rude about corrections--guess what--none of us know it all or without error. So many newcomers have told me how badly they have been treated over a dup or error. Shame!

Please do not post bio information in the FLOWER OR PHOTO section. Just send an edit and I will add. Thank you.

On memorial changes please use the "Edit" button, this sends us right to the page,so we don't have to do searches.

It would make things so much easier if everyone would read the Find A Grave Guidelines. They are so simple, yet are so helpful. Eliminates so many requests for corrections, etc.

Ancestry has purchased Find A Grave!!! Lets hope this improves site!

George A Whitaker
Hi Helen,

I just received your note - "George Whitaker came to go camping in a local rural area. While smoking, fell asleep and died from suffocation and burns from the fire. KY Death Cert: 9764"

The death certificate shows his residence as Fayette County, KY and that he died from smoking in bed. Do you have any other information regarding his death that would clarify what's on the certificate? I assumed he had moved to that area after the war and the place of death was a campground with cabins.

Able Franklin Hart
Hi Helen,
Just wanted to make sure I have found Able Franklin Hart's correct parents before I link them to him. I found Riley Roberson Hart Find A Grave Memorial# 7458225 & Emeline Seitz Hart Find A Grave Memorial# 7458222. These are his parents, right?
Thanks for Your Help!

Hi, I added pictures for Violet and her son; you have that she was cremated; may be a memorial stone. Thought you would like to know about the pics.

Helen, No problem with the transfer of Darcas Anders' grave at Greenwood cemetery, Barnardsville. I was in touch with the lady who manages her husbands memorial and she is very helpful, especially where Civil War vets graves are concerned. She will probably be willing to help with that transfer if necessary, though it is well maintained under her care. Thanks for the contact!
