I have been interested in genealogy for many years. Photos of the older tombstones are of special interest. A record of where they are now is invaluable, as many tend to disappear with time. |
Please do not post obits or death certificates on memorials I have entered. The right side of the memorial is for photos of the deceased person or their monument. Obit info should be posted in the bio section. I have found that death certificates contain too many errors to be used without further research.
Many of the photos my husband and I have posted on Find-A-Grave have been posted on Ancestry without permission. If you want to use our photos, please ask permission. Credit should be given to the owner of a photo.
Find-A-Grave is a very helpful tool, if used correctly. Caution in connecting memorials to family members will avoid future problems and corrections.
If I have entered a memorial for a member of
your family, and you would like the memorial transferred to you, please contact me.
Lines we are researching: Patterson, Blackburn, Hufstedler, Kunkel, Roberts, Baker, Barnett, Ledbetter; Graves, Lancaster, Houston, Yarbro,
Fisher, Raney, Graham

Hello! Could you please link #81230937 (father, John Henry Johnson) and #81230957 (mother, Sophia
Emily Fisher Johnson) to your memorial for their son, William Curry Johnson, #36802582. Thank you so much!

|Keith & Linda Robertson||Hugh Watson Long AKA Hugh Washington Long|
I left a copy of marriage records of The long family on Hugh W Long findagrave Site
The marriage record shows Hugh Watson and Martha Burnett date of marriage in Rutherford CO NC,
I am planning a trip to see if i can see the original records in the near future. If there were no errors in the transcription he used Watson at time of marriage. I checked his father's will and he is simply referred to as Hugh W by his father. Washington was a popular name as George Washington had led the revolution and many people named their children in his honor.

someone changed me to a manager and I am ignorant of what that involves. I will look at Jonathan and see if I can mend it. I appreciate your kind answer.

Thank you so much Wilda for keeping us with this information. It surely helps when researching family ties. My grandparents are buried at Sardis Ridge & are Welbern & Lela Hutson along with other family members. I appreciate all you do.
Thank you very much for the photos for Rex, Ethel and Al Curtis Houston at Parsons Cemetery. Your work is invaluable and deeply appreciated.
