Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio and one of my favorite pastimes is exploring and taking pictures at local cemeteries, which I feel are the most peaceful and beautiful places in existence--I have hundreds of cemetery pictures on my Facebook page, including those of individuals of historic significance to the area. I enjoy taking pictures in general, but cemeteries are my favorite subject matter.

James L. Smith and family
The information about his birth state as well as the birth years and states of his parents were found in the 1880 Ashtabula census. Both of his parent's mothers and fathers were born in New York state.
I hope this helps.

Thanks so much for posting the photo! It appears Scott's first wife was Ada, then some time later he married Marie. Do you know Marie's last name? Are you a relative?
Thanks again,
Leslie Lewis

Dear Ann-
Thank you so much for sending me photos of my maternal Great Grandparents @ Chestnut Cemetary in Ashtabula. My Mom never got to met them beccause they died around the time of her birth, I printed off photos and gave them to my Mom and she really appreciated it. Hopefully this summer I can take her there in person to see her Grand parents. Again, thank you for caring and may God bless you and your family.
Respectfully,
Janie M
