Always happy to transfer any memorial to whom I am not related. |
This site has been most helpful for my genealogical research, and most notably for my membership to DAR.
My contributions are how I give back for the help I have received.
"What is life? It is the flash of the firefly in the night. It is the breath of the buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset." Crowfoot

You're welcome! I hope to do a little more searching of their records and maybe find at least a closer area of where she may be as soon as the rain stops!!

Thank you so much for the marker photo for Archibald. I had hoped there would be more markers here for photographing. Samuel B., Seloma Strang and perhaps others. Much appreciation for your time and efforts. Ron

My father was buried in Grimes Cemetery when I was about 18, over 30 years ago -- we lived in NJ at the time and I now live in Florida. My mother was born and raised right down the street from the cemetery (and is a Grimes) I just flew up to NY today and wanted to go to the gravesite so looked it up to find the address -- I found my fathers site (Guynup), a picture and a comment, I assume from you, that you cleaned off all the grass off the stone. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude & appreciation for this act of kindness. I had no idea the site was not being maintained (and will make arrangements immediately) My mother is still living but has dementia. Sorry for the long winded email, but bless you - I just wanted to let you know you really made a difference.

Thank you for the transfer. The Botham's were a mystery for years. It took a couple of days cemetery walking in Shenandoah and St. Clair, Penn. last summer to get things rolling. My great grandmother, Sarah Botham was born in St. Clair. Her first husband was William Price and he died in a coal mine there. Her second husband and my great grandfather, John Bunn was killed in a gas explosion in a coal mine in Shenandoah when my grandmother was eight ears old.
Thank you for your work on find a grave,

I just sent an edit for William Botham Sr. It is the links to his parents, John Botham and Mary Chambers. John and Mary are my 2 X great grandparents. If you require proof to make the changes I can provide that. Send me an email address and I'll send you the info.
Thank you for your work on find a grave.
