|Volunteers wanted...submitters and photographers.|
I live on the southside of Pittsburgh. I am focused on picturing complete cemeteries. I have almost 300 thousand pictures of 170 cemeteries. Submitters needed to enter the memorials. In the spring, we will focus on key cemeteries taking pictures of sections to try to complete a cemetery. Want to help...email me.
My pix are primarily to provide info. I am not embarrassed if you want to submit a request for a better picture; then I will remove my pic.

Thank you for your efforts in photographing gravestones in Allegheny Co. I am writing to ask permission to post your photo of the grave of William Fisher (Memorial # above) to my Ancestry Family Tree. I would of course, credit you as the photographer.
William was my 2xgreat uncle. If you have no personal connection to him, and no particular interest in remaining the owner of the memorial, you could transfer it to me. In any case, I would appreciate permission to use the photo. Thank you.

Thank you for the transfer of Stella, most of all for all your work on Find A Grave.
|Mark Alberthal||RE: Gaus duplication|
I have noticed on several memorials there are duplicate pictures. I have transcribed some of them and have noticed the same picture appearing to be transcribed again. I clicked on the Feedback button and left a message with some memorials as examples to look at and also my email address. I have not heard back from them.
Thank you very much for getting Mildred Corrado's picture!

I have a high resolution computer screen.
Also Resurrection Cemetery has a few that are hard to read due to the resolution.

Your bio says you have 300,000 gravestone photos to post.
Findagrave has a bulk photo upload now. It tells about it on the main findagrave page. You can go to each cemetery and upload bulk photos. The first 7 days only you have access to them, after 7 days the uploaded photos are open for anyone to transcribe.
I tried it and it is very easy.

|Marilyn Peters||Dennis Leo Driscoll|
I'm inquiring about a merged record for Dennis Leo Driscoll, born 29Jan1897 in Bloomington, Illinois, and died 04July1969 in Crystal Beach, Welland, Ontario, Canada.
According to a "Report of the Death of an American Citizen",(in a foreign country) he was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Erie County, New York.
I accessed the Find A Grave website from Ancestry, only to find that the entry for him was merged to Dennis I Driscoll, b.1895, d.1969.
I'm not sure that he is buried there or if he was disinterred and shipped back to McLean County, Illinois.
His wife's name was Irene.
Would you please check your records?
Thanks for the transfer. I do appreciate it.

A while back I had helped you with uploading some pictures of Mount Calvary Cemetery in McKees Rocks. I was not able to get through all the pictures and add them all to the site.
I had another user ask me yesterday about two other burials in the cemetery by the names of Richard and Vivian Ginder. He said the cemetery records show that they are buried there. If you still have those photos, and may have the photos of that headstone, that would be great.

My guess is that when the cemetery list was made he was still alive, so not added to the list. Feel free to enter him yourself if you want.
