I removed James & Jessie as Richard N.'s parents per your request.Per the 1930's WPA records and the 1986 cemetery book Richard's middle initial is N.I have not yet personally seen their stones. In the cemetery book they are listed in a row Margaret Anna,Richard N.,Jessie H.,James B.,& Anna M.

The cemetery office has no record of a burial date for the marker placed for E.G.? Kelley so my suspicion is that since there was another burial in the grave area for the Eli C. Kelly listed in their records, they changed the burial location but all of the records did not get changed. I do believe these 2 records are for the same person but there is no way to confirm that through the office records. Linda

The cemetery has a listing for Eli C. Kelly buried in GAR, Division 1, , Lot 126, Grave 1. His DOD was 6 JUL 1900. This is a different location from the E.G. Kelley marker ( GAR, Division 1,, Lot 115, Grave 1). This is the information from their computer files.
The cemetery has a booklet that has compiled the Civil War Veterans buried at Mt. Hope. In this book in the section where it is broken down by unit, there is a listing for Private Eli C. Kelly in the 125th Ohio Infantry, Co A with the dates, 1833- 6 JUL 1900. It also lists him as being part of "Opdycke's Tigers".
Upon checking that location we run into a dilemma. Using the sheet provided by the office, I found all of the nearby markers in order except for Lot 126. It appears there is a marker there for the person who should have been buried in Lot 124 and no marker on Lot 124.
Hope this helps in some way. Linda

Sorry, check the pic again ...I posted the wrong one at first...there is another stone just to the left of Byron's, but it's too deteriorated to read.

You are welcome. Transfer at your discretion, but certainly not necessary.

Unfortunately, this grave is for E.G. Kelley as listed in the cemetery records as well as on the marker. There are no dates listed in the records or on the marker. I will try to find the burial date. They did not have an E.C. Kelley but I will check again with the office just to be sure under Eli Kelley.
