Your heat is in the right place, but he is not buried in the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery; he died in Danville, VA., a few hundred miles south of here.

Respectfully, Dan Janzegers

Find A Grave Memorial# 16747100
Your memorial for Jesse Mobley has no photo. There is another memorial for Jesse Mercer Mobley in this cemetery (Find A Grave Memorial# 40627937). Are there two separate graves or is it possible that these memorials are for the same man? The Jesse Mobley in your memorial was from Coffee County, GA and killed in Virginia. It just seems strange that he would be buried in Carroll County.

Littleton Albritton
Saw your posting on Matthew Albritton...found wife of Littleton L. Albritton ( Mary E Mobley Albritton) in pension papers, Ga Virtual vault. She said that Littleton died Aug 8, 1896 in Nashville...see her pension papers page 2 for 17 Oct 1913. But cannot find WHERE HE IS BURIED. Served as 2nd and 1st Lt. Company E Berrien Co. 54th Regiment Ga Vol. Infantry.
Any idea which cemetery?

Looking for Ory Gravesite
Does anyone know where George Harry Ory is buried? He was born January 26, 1907 and died either on June 26, 1984, or sometimes in July, 1984. He was married to Linda Marie Bercegeay Ory and their four children were Irma, Royal, Ray, and Ronald.

They were residents of St. John the Baptist Parish at one time, but then moved to Kenner in Jefferson Parish. I believe he is buried in Metairie (Jefferson Parish), but I'm not sure.

His parents were Aurelius Absolom (Bee) Ory and Melanie Virginia Landry Ory.

He went by Harry, so his grave marking may indicate Harry rather than George.

Thank you.
