Well, gee, I'm a family member. I don't have him listed in our records under any first name other than Michael. When I did the appropriate searches both at Find A Grave at large and of the particular cemetery NOTHING showed up. That's the due diligence that's expected, and that's why I added his record. Can't search under a name I don't have. I appreciated your bringing this memorial to my attention, and told you so. I offered to share information with you. For now I am comfortable contacting the cemetery and seeing what they know about the different dates, the different name, the new marker, etc. This seems the most reasonable approach. It is not worth getting that upset/nasty about.
I have contributed literally hundreds of obituaries to other people's memorials. As you know, that's not something one gets "credit" for. The satisfaction comes from helping people gain access to information they might not otherwise have.
Boy, this is a hot mess, isn't it [the very least of which being the addition of John/Johans] This memorial also links back to a grandfather which contradicts some other information.
As a first step -- unless you've already done it -- I will write and ask what they know about the placement and dating of the "replacemnt" marker. I certainly looks like an expensive one.
Are you a Bridenbaugh?

I sent a correction notice today. How she could miss the original when she went to the spouse to make a link is beyond me...

Find A Grave Memorial# 43937053
I sent an edit for her birth and death info. I know her headstone says she died 1884 -- that is incorrect. She died 21 Sep 1885 -- I have the newspaper article detailing her death if you would like me to send it to you in order to justify a death year different than the one on her headstone. Let me know. Thanks -- Laura is my husband's 2nd cousin 3x removed.

Thank you kindly for photographing the POORMAN headstones.
Thanks so much!
