Bio Photo Our findagrave activity stemmed from my love of genealogy, photography and old gravestones, strengthened when we saw the damage one year of weather does to an older stone that cannot stand the test of time well. We believe everyone deserves to be remembered, beyond plain, cold statistics, and document as much as we are able, especially as we travel. This is a wondrous site where the upcoming generations can easily find their history and ancestors. Even after we are gone, our work will remain. Thank you, Findagrave.

We are all simply the guardians of those we have kindly added until their family comes along. I am eager to transfer anyone who is not family to family. People with kind, sincere words make my day.

I take my heritage, 'graving' and documentation very seriously and most respectfully. Accuracy is of the most utmost importance to me, not who 'owns' a memorial. If I have made an error, please, please, let me know, politely. Cooperation is the entire point of this site. I now understand why people leave Findagrave. If you are rude, I will ignore you or any request.

I spend over half my time on Findagrave JUST sending edits to admin for duplicates, not documenting cemeteries any more. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE double check before you add a historical person from the 1600's or back. Nine times out of ten, they have already been added. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the FAQ concerning BURIALS UNKNOWN. They are to be used for RECENT deaths only, not your 176th great grandfather whose burial is 'not located yet.'

Do not use my photos without permission, and ask BEFORE you use them. Simple, reasonable. And, if your pictures are out of focus, too dark to read, taken at night, crooked, or the stone is covered in dirt or weeds, or your finger was in front of the lens, I will place my photo on the memorial. Sorry. Please have the respect to post only decent, well thought out photos.

USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION ON THE MEMORIAL you want updated for updates requests, transfer requests, general inquiries ANY memorial. I will IGNORE AND DELETE suggestions, requests and updates and inquiries left HERE or in EMAIL, as they are REPEATEDLY, DESPITE THIS stupidly bold NOTICE.

She is the granddaughter of my 4th Great grandfather, Joseph Fible. If I got this right she would be by 1st cousin 4 times removed. Are you related?

Yes I am, he's my first cousin 1x removed. His mother Abigail Eliza Butler Corey was my 1st great aunt. How are you related?

RE: Sir William Aton
I saw you changed the date. I sent the note because I thought you would want the source for the date and place of death that I had sent as a proposed edit, without a message.

Just now, I corrected the manor from Marton to Malton, which I had mistakenly clicked when I proposed the date and place of death edit.

RE: Lozier memorials
Thank you so much for adding my family.
I know there are other family members buried in Mariposa Cemetery. I am trying to locate to sponsor their sites.
My Great Grandfather George Hamilton Lozier. Grandfather George Allen Lozier.
Grandmother Edith Idonia Sorrells.
Father Charles Plopper
Mother Ellen Ruby Lozier
Brother Lance Fredrick Plopper.
I have so far.
I know that Aunt Mary Jane Lozier/Bates and husband Leslie Bates are also in this cemetery, but I think their daughter Judy Bates/Sheets my cousin most likely have them listed already.
Hopefully I will get to visit the cemetery and family in Mariposa this coming summer.

Find A Grave Memorial# 71719327

I am running my Compton line up to the Plantagenets.

I have a daughter of Humphrey Stafford, Lady Catherine Stafford 1437-26 Dec 1476 married to John (3rd Earl of Shrewsbury) Talbot III.

can you confirm? Burial of her or husband?

It's amazing that your memorial is only two numbers greater than the other, although the dates are a couple of days apart. Another Find A Grave glitch, I guess. I do wish they had better programmers!
