Cherri Lusk
Jacob Brands 1818-1897
Thank you for looking. Another contributor went to the office and found out that Jacob was in a whole different block and she took a picture and there is a discrepancy with the death date. The stone shows he died in 1897.

Richard Aldridge
Thank you for trying to find Richard's headstone. The information I have regarding his burial site location came from a Marathon County Genealogical Society publication. I will have to do some further research. ~ Mary

RE: Starck Family History
I don't believe there is any relation. P.A. Starck's family came from Germany between 1852 and 1856. They lived in Ohio and then in the Chicago vicinity. He only had one brother, Carl, who stayed in the area. Carl was a Lutheran minister.
P.A. established the piano company in 1891. He only had one son, who worked for the Starck Piano Company until he died. As for going great distances for lumber, in 1909 the son traveled to Europe to buy lumber for the manufacturing of their pianos. None of the family lived in Iowa.

Cemetery Photo
Michael, I used your photo for Cubb Prairie Cemetery (while I did give you credit for the photo, my name appeared on the photo when it was accepted.) I am in the process of asking Find A Grave to combine the two cemeteries (Cubb and Cub Prairie Cemetery). There are only five remaining memorials at Cub Prairie and your photo was on the Cub Prairie. Thank you for your understanding. Vickye

RE: Amandria Craig Utterback
Hi Michael,

You set me on a different path today. Back to my great grand aunt Emarine KIPHART Utterback, Abner's 2nd spouse. Amandria was his first. So far I'm searching. I'll let you know if I find something; course I don't know which/what you have.
Have you been to Cindy's memorials on Find A Grave for family?
Emarine is my great grandpa William Kiphart's older sister, well 3 years older.
I've been to your tree today too.
Have you been to the Baugh-Edwards-Kiphart tree of my maternal grandpa?

Later,
Melissa

Michael:
Happy to do it! It is a beautiful, mountain top cemetery, overlooking the entire Denver metro area. The views are amazing! Though I had gone up before for pictures, it was always cold and snowing, so this time up was a great summertime pleasure. I do not know what your family connection is, but I also posted a pic(s) on Neoma Corrigan's memorial as well. Figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. :) If you would like, for personal use, copies of the photos without my name and copyright, just let me know and I would be happy to send them to you.

Thank you so very very much for taking the two pictures of the headstone of my husband's 2d great granduncle, James Singleton.
It means a lot to our family and you did a great job.
