Hello everyone from Monticello, Wayne Co, Kentucky. Well as of this month Sharon Brown and I are working to get every cemetery name and the names of the people of Monticello, Wayne Co, Ky into Find A Grave. We both are adding names and I'm taken pix to be added as we go a long the list. We are about 99.9 done with Alexander Cemetery and now have started Elk Spring Cemetery. If there is anyone that would like to help please let me know. If I can get someone else to help add names then that would give me more time to get out there and get the pix that is needed. I must thank Sharon Brown for all the hard work she has given me. This lady doesn't or has never lived in Monticello but she has jumped right in and helped so much. THANK YOU SHARON. With out her help I would not had gotten as far as I have. I started something to help others and made a dear friend because of it. Our friendship will not stop when this is done. We will be friends for life. Oh, I also have to thank Joan Frey. This lady has taken over working on my family tree so I can give Find A Grave all of my free time. What a sweet lady. Yes, our friendship will be forever also. Joan is the lady that got me into Find A Grave. THANK YOU JOAN. Love you all lady's. |
ANYONE MAY USE MY PIC AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SALE THEM. I DO THIS FOR FREE AND I WANT TO KEEP MY WORK THAT WAY. NO COPYING FOR BOOKS OR SALE.

Thank you so much Regina - and Sharon, for all that you are doing to get the memorials of our relatives on-line! Many of my Baker and related family are buried in the Monticello area and I was wondering if you had photos of the Corder Cemetery, Coopersville Quad: Wayne Co., Kentucky - just south of Monticello near the old Corder Church. I would love to see photos of what the cemetery looks like and the old Church if you have them. There are about 45 marked graves there from what a family member mentioned and all are related. My mom (the 2rd great granddaughter of Joseph Baker/Catherine Barrier) is celebrating her 93rd birthday this week and I would love to show them to her! My email address is on my profile pg. here... Thanks again!!

Hi Regina, I see you created interments at Old Town Cemetery, aka Buster Cemetery. The location provided is "Cemetery is on Ira Bell Farm on Church Street in Bell Bottom, Monticello, Ky. Wayne County Kentucky USA Postal Code: 42633. Cemetery notes and/or description: UNIDENTIFIED GRAVES: 294"... I can't find that place on any new or old map, and was wondering if you would be able to provide it's location? Thanks!

Regina, how to find a page number? All know is that grandmother is between 1,521 and 1560. Help???
|Long Black Veil||William John Kindrick|
Thank you so much for the great picture of William J Kindrick' stone. Great job.
I am so afraid on warm spring days or during the summer to visit cemeteries because of snakes. So I understand what you were talking about. Even with the snakes all around you still got a great picture of William' stone
Thank you for all the work you do on find a grave and all the wonderful photographs.

Father is 43007506. Mother is 43007608. Thank you for doing this, and I apologize for the long delay in getting these numbers to you.

Regina, on Find-A-Grave, it states that my grandmother was called Edna. No, she was not. Her middle name, or really her first name, is Elizabeth. Her sister was Edna Koger, and she is buried in TN. Can you please change this? I am hoping that someday I can show you the bible. Grandmother really was Elizabeth Mae Koger Clark, but as many people were called by their middle names, so was Grannie. She was also called "Lizzie" as a young child.That information was from her mouth to my ears.
