Thornton is my 3rd Great Grandfather also.........I have been trying to find the Gleaves cemetery.......where is the Oak Grove cemetery? There is still a church in Oak Grove......was there a different one? I really appreciate your help, have been trying to find their graves...

Yes,I am white.Have you looked at the Laura Donaldson family? I believe we have some mix. My dad was William (Billy) A. Donaldson and his skin was very dark and his father also.Please look at my family starting with Laura Donaldson on Find A Grave.

Hi! This is Jeff Donaldson again.The research that I have done, looks like that Ishmeal Evans was my great-grandmother father.My great-grandmother name was Laura Evans?not sure It has been hard to find information on Laura. Laura Evans became Laura Donaldson. (1869-1938 Memorial # 109640816) don't know how.Her husband was Samuel Donaldson. I have not seen a marriage certificate. Her life is a mystery. I need more prove to go forward.You may be able to help me get through this brick wall.I have been working on Laura Donaldson for "YEARS".I hope you can help.(I Peter 5:7)

He my ggg grandfahther too. I descend thru his daughter Sophia Melinda who married Robert Gwinn Hill, and then thru their son the Rev. John Louis Hill.
