I've pursued genealogy as a hobby since I was in my teens. I don't post things that I don't intend to share, so feel free to download and repost any pictures you find on my pages. I will gladly transfer management of sites if you are a family member. If you find errors or have additional information, I welcome corrections and will update as quickly as I am able.|

Kevin, once again, I must thank you so much for your prompt response and transfer of my paternal great-uncle! It seems you have recorded a number of my loved ones and I am so appreciative. Your kindness and dedication with numerous postings to Find A Grave is to be commended. Blessings!

Could you copy your photo of Moses Hurt's headstone onto Julia Ann Huffaker Hurt's page? I added her death certificate to her page and then was horrified to find it came up on as her photo rather than a photo of her headstone, so I took the death certificate off.

Oh---I also have a photo of who I believe to be Peyton Henry and Susannah. They look younger than the photos you've shared with me. Maybe you already have this one, but maybe not. He was really handsome!

Hi Kevin --I've been working on Celia again, and I had told you there was a family portrait that had been ripped apart. I pieced it together as best I could, and Celia's face is clear to see. The top of her hair is missing. She looks like her sisters and Susannah. You'd wanted a photo of her, and I'm happy to share. Are you still interested?
|Mary Lynn Kilday||RE: Susannah Elizabeth Nalley Evans|
Hi Kevin, Susannah was my great, great grandmother, too. Here's how it goes from my part of the family tree. Susannah and Peyton (isn't that a great name?) Henry Evans had a daughter, Celia Annie who married James Walter Simmons (who lived to be 106). Their daughter, Cora L. married Owen Jackson York (my paternal grandparents who adopted me -- my birth father, their son, Cecil Owen York). Then there's me -- Mary Lynn York Kilday (that's the record biologically; through adoption it makes Susannah my great-grandmother). So, we're cousins down the road. I have a good bit of info on my side of the family. I'm looking for anyone who knows how Celia Annie (born 1871) died in 1904 in Lindsy, Oklahoma. I've hit a brick wall. It's a long-shot that you'd know anything, but people talk and somewhere down the line we had relatives that were talking. Oral history can help. It's nice to meet you online, cuz. -- Mary Lynn

|Sadie Pierce||Husband of Josie|
I am still trying to confirm info about her husband's death and burial. However, I am able to add that she married Samuel Joseph Pounds in Selmer, McNairy, Tennessee, USA on 16 October 1894. Samuel's brother is Francis Marion Pounds (Memorial ID: 71620273), which will link Samuel to his parents, whenever his burial place is found.

Would you mind adding your picture on the Charlie Blair memorial to the Jennie Pruitt memorial as well?
