I am looking for Taylor, Stalnaker, Coberly, Thompson (WV), Platt's (NY, CT), and Radice's and Fabrizio's (Wash DC).
That goofy kid in my picture is my son, Alex. He is my research buddy, and my cemetery companion. I picked him up from school one day and said "We have to hurry, we have to go home." And he shouts at the top of his lungs "I don't want to go home! I want to go where the dead people are!"
One of my favorite things to do is to find those poor lost family cemeteries out in the woods, or in a forgotten field. I figure they must be related to someone, and I love to clean them up. Work my friend Courtney and I have done: Estes Family, Wright Family, Turner-Stone Family, Taylor Family, Turner #1 Family, Gillaspie Family, Brooks
Kicking ass and taking names...off headstones!
Let us know what we can do to help you!!

Thanks for asking for verification. It's always good to have sources. My information came from 1860, 1870, and 1880 census records. It also seems to be the consensus of Scobee researchers, although a couple have the names listed on your memorial. The census records have known siblings. I don't know if that is enough for you to change the memorial, but that is all I have.

I was wondering if you had more family information for the Hoppe's buried in Atchison County or Holt County, Missouri. My great grandmother's maiden name was Hoppe, but I haven't been able to go any further back. Her name was Julia Caroline Hoppe, she married William Brandon Butrick. Thanks so much, Chad

Hi, This is my great-aunt. Thank-you so much for posting. I am looking for any information whatsoever on her father, Ulyssus (Ulyssus, Ulisses) Cox, and his wife, Mary Jane Short. If you or any of your contacts have or can find any information at all, I'd be very grateful. They lived in DeKalb County, Missouri, and I believe there is a family plot in a cemetery in Fillmore.
