Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Norman, Oklahoma, but have lived most of my life in Dallas, Texas. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 28 years, and we have eight children and three grandchildren. I am busy raising young ones, but in my "spare" time, I like to read, especially historical books, sew and craft, and dabble in genealogy and ancestry.
Please feel free to use any of my photos for your personal use. :-)

Cemetery defunknt ,on private land ,possably no stone's left . Some time this fall I am going get pemission to try and locate it again ,right now so many ticks you can not go any were in the thick timber and grass . was in very bad shape in the 1980s no telling what it looks like now . If I find any stone's will take photos ,really going to be hard just locating the cemetery now ,unless land owner knows location . It right is by Mine Creek battle field . Used to know who owens it but dont know now ,as that person is dead .

You're welcome. I was very happy to get them for you. There are many many Ragon's spread throughout Oakland Memorial. If there are any more you need please make requests for them and I will get them as I can.

RE: Henry Hitt
You are welcome. I didn't get a chance to get all the one in the De Ann Cemetery. Time ran out. I did add photos for quit a few White's in the old section of the cemetary. I thought they may be in your family.

RE: Steele photos
You're welcome. It's fun to hunt these down. I did find another Steel (Annie) that wasn't in the original listing and added her in if it is of interest to you. I will keep my eyes peeled for Salmons next time I'm up there.

Caney Cemetery
I filled all your request but one for Caney. I just couldn't find Dilmus. Is his parent buried in this cemetery? I thought this one marker might have been his. It's over by a few White's. It's just a rock sticking out of the ground with some letters engraved in it. I'm just not sure it's him. I did pick up other White's and Rhodes there. Feel free to us my pics for you records.

RE: Maximino Cobb
My dad is a Trexler and one of nine children. His dad was Fred Trexler. Pretty much everyone in this area knew him He shod horses and mules. His photo is handing in Nevada Depot Museum for this. He did it well up into his 80's. My grandmother was a Starritt/Silvey. She wrote a little column for the Prescott Picayune.

I've seen quite a few White graves in this area. I notice you have some request for De Ann and Caney Cemetery in Prescott. I went to De Ann yesterday but is was so hot! I plan on going back out there this week, probably in the evening. Doesn't seem like anyone is filling the request in this area. I'll do my best to get yours for you. I don't live here. Just visiting my parents for the week.

RE: Maximino Cobb
Not a problem. I'm just sorry I couldn't get the photo for you. What is your mother in-law's family name? My dad's family moved here back in the 1920's. They owned the land next to Artesian Cemetery. My great grandfather and grandfather built the house that's still on the property.

Maximino Cobb
Hi Jennifer.

I saw your request for Cobb in the Artesian Cemetery, Nevada County, AR. My dad's farm is located close to the cemetery. This cemetery has not been properly tended to for many years. Some neighbors have come togehter trying to keep it cleaned up. Many years ago some kids went out there, removed and broke some of the headstone. It's really sad to see how this cemetery was forgotten about. I'll walk back through it to see if they headstone is there hidden but don't think it is. Here is a website of the cemeteries in Nevada County. It has his headstone as not being found back in 2006 survey.
