Bio and Links
Bio Photo My paternal family moved to Washington State in the late 19th century from Ohio, Iowa, and Pennsylvania, while my maternal family came from Iowa and North Dakota (originally from Ireland) and Minnesota (from Germany).

I enjoy searching in these states for my relatives and their relatives and friends.

In real life I have been a librarian for over 35 years and a politician for over 20, currently a port commissioner, and formerly a state legislator, a city councilman, and mayor.

Moak, Good, Mielke, Stender, and Redmond are some of the lines I follow.

RE: Ethel E, Wolf or Wolfe
The one I created says Wolf. The other was created by someone else. I would be more than happy to transfer the one I created to you, then you can do whatever you like with it?

Ethel E, Wolf or Wolfe
The stone is marked Wolf, your suggestion is to delete and leave the original, which doesn't match the stone. Do you know which is correct? I will be more than happy to delete my duplicate, I just want to make sure which way the name is spelled. Thanks

Forest Bain memorial
Hi. Finally had the chance to look at the index. He was listed as the plot owner in the cemetery index. William Bain is listed as buried in same plot.

What I did was add the memorial # to the one in Honolulu. It is interesting that William Bain died in 1953 and Forest in 1944. Wonder if it was a preneed plot in Miamitown. Or if the family had decided to bring him home and didn't. So I am leaving up the memorial just in case they did bring him home and didn't put a stone on it.

John W. Grubbs Info
Thomas, thanks for the obituary of John W. Grubbs you sent. From the obituary Mr. Grubbs appeared to be an accomplished family-oriented person who was an asset to his community. Too often such insight about the deceased is lost, but history will be the better for your research and contribution. As is my custom I've referenced you, by Find A Grave #, as the obituary source on the memorial. Regards, Dan Stropes

After checking my records I am certain that my burial location is correct. Other photos taken in that graveyard are posted the same date and approximate time. Scott
