This is a photo of my ggg grandmothers grave.|
I have never seen the grave. I really appreciate the person who took the photo.
Thanks a lot.
It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.
Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

|Larry Kriv||RE: Owen Dresden Jones|
Thank you, Mary, for the e-mail and the picture of the marker. One day, I will be back up that way (have to get back to Palo Duro). My wife and I are very happy. Please thank the cemetery association for us.

Mary, Hi! I don't know if I saw this and replied at some time or I missed it entirely. Please forgive me for the late reply. When we went through Memphis back in 2006, we stopped at a funeral home (I can't remember if it was the one that handled his service or not). Long story short, there is no information on where he might be buried. I can only assume that no one put up a marker. It might have been financially restrictive, as it was during the Depression.
My personal e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org, if you want to get hold of me!
THanks for the inquiry.

|Ancestor Hunter||Roy Massey|
I noticed that you left flowers for Roy Massey who married Abbie Cordelia O'Neal.
My mother is an autosomal DNA match to John Silas O'Neal and Elizabeth Kendrick. My mother matches on the 4th cousin level to several other who are descendants of this couple. She matches on a 3rd Cousin level to a descendant of Roy Massey and Abbie Cordelia O'Neal, which means they have a 2nd grandparent in common.
I am hoping that you might be able to tell me line of descent of Abbie O'Neal, as it would help me narrow my search if I could establish which O'Neal son or daughter my mother descends from.
It is likely that she descends from John Houston O'Neal or George Washington O'Neal.
Ancestry shows that she matches 5 out of 6 members in the DNA circle for Nancy Elizabeth Fouts, 7 out of 11 members in the DNA circle for Barzilla Staten and 7 out of 10 members in the DNA circle for Catherine Watson. Because of this, I am having a hard time pinpointing my mother's line in the tree.
She is also matching to James L. Permenter and Loucrecy Rhodes. They had a daughter named Laura Permenter who married Sam Staten, a descendant of Barzilla Staten and Catherine Watson. Complicating matters is Quarterman Barzilla Staten who married Theresa Malloy, who had a daughter named Elizabeth Cinderella Staten, who married George Washington O'Neal. However, I have not been able to figure out where my mother would fit in either line of descent.
