|Dr. Charles Robert (Bob) Campbell||Regarding Louisiana paper|
I forgot to tell my connection to the Louisiana newspaper. My great grandfather Daniel DeMitt Turnbaugh came to Louisiana about 1905 to operate the paper, he died at age 48 in 1908. He had prior to that been the publisher and editor of the Ozark County Times in Gainsville, Missouri. One of his sons, James DeMitt Turnbaugh was the long time editor of the City addition of the Kansas City Star. Small world.
|Dr. Charles Robert (Bob) Campbell||RE: Laura Holt Staggs|
Hi Annie, I was not aware that we had duplicate memorials. Thanks for the reply. My records indicate that Laura married Charles Staggs in 1898. She is listed as his wife in the 1910 federal census. While I have not found any divorce record it appears that she divorced Holt some time after 1900 and married Staggs sometime after.
You did not mention your relationship to Laura, certainly if it is closer than mine, great grand aunt by marriage I will be happy to remove my record. Which ever of us does it the other should make sure that bio info is included from the other in the remaining record.
|David Sharp||William Raymond Brown Jr|
He has a Stone in Oakland that is on the back of his parents Stone, Added the picture. I have no info that he was actually brought to Oakland for burial. Just going by the Stone. If you want to send me the dates that would be fine, or I cna transfer the Brown's to you if you are related. Thanks Dave
|Barbara||Benjamin Waller -Spotsylvania Co., VA|
The date of death for Benjamin Waller, #134283613, Prospect Hill Cemetery, Partlow, VA is incorrect. He died before 2 August 1830 as that is the date his will was probated. His will was dated 31 July 1826 and he died sometime before the 2 Aug. 1830 date. If you could somehow make a note of this info, it would be much appreciated.

|Dr. Charles Robert (Bob) Campbell||RE: Laura Holt Skaggs|
Hi Anna, your information about your family is very interesting. My Great Grandfather, Daniel DeMitt Turnbuagh was the publisher and editor of the Ozark County Times in Gainsville, Mo and also the Louisiana Press Journal in Louisiana, Mo. His son and my great uncle James DeMitt Turnbuagh was the Morning addition editor of the Kansas City Star and his son was the publisher and editor of the Jackson County Missouri Advocate in Grandview Mo. However, non of this relates to my original question, I would like to maintain my memorial and I did it a year before yours was added. I am more then happy to include any and all information that you would like to provide through the Find A Grave editorial system but I believe it is your responsibility to remove your memorial, as I said since yours predates mine by some time. I look forward to your response.
my best regards, I am yours,
|Jennifer Gallo||RE: John Peters|
Sorry for such a delayed response, his daughter Clara K Peters Painter (1870 - 1902) is my second great grandmother on my paternal side. Unfortunately I really do not know anything about the family other than what my research has turned up. I do not have photos of anyone but my grandparents, not even any of my great grandparents. I would love to see the photos you have, if possible and I will gladly compare what little notes I have with you if you would like.
|Connie Nisinger||Pierre Laclede Scott|
Pierre was buried in Lot 2752 on 8/19/1917. The only other Scott in that lot is Adele K. You can view the lot diagram here:
|George Seitz||Waller - Prospect Hill|
Is there any evidence that Benjamin, Jane, or William Edmund Waller are buried at Prospect Hill?
|Cindy||Lucy Haydon Peyton|
If you are family to her, why don't you receive the transfer. She will be with her other siblings in one place and I'll have Lucetta Jane Haydon Cantrell, our GGGrandmother. If at some point you decide different, I'll be glad to take any you transfer over. Let me know and thank you.
