|Janet Milburn||These don't quite work for Elizabeth|
Thanks for the info but neither memorial number
work for parents of Elizabeth. Could you check
again? My computer gives me problems sometimes
but I don't think it would be capable of pulling a trick like this on me.
Hope to here from you thru 'edit' when you have time. Keep warm and well wherever you are.
Please link Elizabeth (maiden name Monkhouse) Fory to her father John A. Monkhouse ID# 71645281 and her mother Elizabeth Monkhouse ID# 71667858

I'm sorry, your two emails have confused me.
I don't know if there are two different people or if it's the same person. If so, I'm reading it to be two different sets of parents with one set of parents showing his wife as his mother. HELP! LOL I really want to get this correct.

Your very welcome and thank you for providing all the information. It is a joy to provide anything that may help someone doing research. If you are related to any of our memorials and would like to manage them; let us know.

I have added his mother and father, thank you for providing that information. Please feel free to request his memorial if you would like to have it. I didn't know him, but I wanted him to have a memorial. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I see you've read the terrible account of the deaths by fire of Martha, Maurine & Barney Stephens (#93498022)in 1927. The end of the story: Barney & Ethel, the parents, moved to Columbia, established a grocery & were well loved & cherished by the community. They had two sons, Richard b. 1929 & Bruce b. 1932. I knew this small family well. The sons were the kindest men I've ever known, their parents gracious & quietly dignified. Ethel lived to be 99. I visited her weekly at a Columbia nursing home as did other cousins. Her sons were highly successful & had to live away... Ethel lived in the moment & was interested in what others were doing. We spoke of cousins in the sense of the present.

|Christopher Beard||Jesse Brumfield|
Hi. I made the link for Jesse to his parents. Question I am hoping you can help with - Find A Grave shows his name as D. Jesse Brumfield, but in other documentation I have seen it is Jesse Kelly Brumfield. Do you know where the D. came from and what it may stand for? Could he had had three names possibly. I know that as common. (D. Jesse Kelly Brumfield)??

The Walthall Cem book says in the Knoxo Comm behind Linwood Graves home, across hollow and on hillside. Section 19, Township 2 North, Range 12 East. No markers remain. Wish I could be more help.
Robert: Has it been business as usual since we last talked, or have you made any startling or fascinating discoveries? I continue to work, but not at my old pace. Have you read that Find A Grave has been sold to Ancestry?
