I live in Central Ohio with my husband. I'm a proud U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.|
Preserving a very old stone on a photo is a blessed thing. I always think of the ancestors in the future that will stumble onto this site and find that stone, that may be worn away by weather or destroyed by an evil vandal now, but has been preserved for them with photography here forever.
I'd really appreciate it if you'd visit my parents memorial pages and leave a flower for them. God bless you in advance for doing this!!
THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated
Deaths are recorded
Families are reunited
Memories are made tangible and
Love is undisguised
This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect
Families bestow reverence
Historians seek information and
Our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotion, pride and warmth are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life, not the death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of a people, a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering...always.

|Kathy Lewis||Meeker Family|
Hi I'm working on family research for my surname Meeker. On your find a grave site you have listed 6 members of my family in Royalton Cemetery in Amanda Fairfield Ohio. For my great-great - grandfather Aaron Meeker #29856502 someone has gone to the expense of putting a wonderful new marker up for him.
My problem is my family was not sure who his parents were. What they had written is not the truth. I'm wondering is there a way or someone, to find out from the cemetery records or from whoever put the marker up the information I need to continue this family. I am at a dead end. I would be willing to pay the expenses needed to acquire this information.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you Kathy Lewis

Thanks for the transfers. I just love the picture of the snow around the tombstones you took.
