RE: William Hardin Absher
No problem. I want the info out there for anyone who wants it, so I'm happy to hand it off to whomever can and will maintain it.

RE: Todd Gilbert Loy
I didn't see any others with the last name of loy's there. But if your interested. I put a paper against Kenneth's stone and did a rubbing showing the imprint on the paper if you would like to have it. I can send a pic of it today by email. Would be happy to mail it to you.

Hey I am the one that took the picture of your father. If you want to email me at your address, I can send you a tomb stone rubbing on paper if you would like it. Your story moved me so I did a rubbing for it. We were on vacation from Louisiana visiting family.

RE: Robert Lee Loy Sr.
Wow. 13 children is hard to believe. It would be interesting to learn if they were all Issabell's or like you said, he had another wife.

If you could send any "Loy" pictures you have to, I would greatly appreciate it.

Not sure if you knew this - an interesting tidbit, I recently found that the Loy family was of German descent. I was always told English. Turns out William Loy's father, Conrad Loy was born in 1771 in Berks co, PA to Johannes Heinrich Loy Sr. and Maria Elizabeth Kumpf, of Baden, Germany.

J. Heinrich arrived in PA from Germany on the ship "Elizabeth" 27 August 1733. I'm assuming they made their way to Virginia because of a battlefield that was building up in their town during the war.

I would love any pictures you have. I emailed you but it got kicked back.  How many children did Bob Loy Sr. Have? Robert Lee Jr. Is my great grandfather - who had three children (one being my grandmother Betty).  Were Bob Jr. And Gussie brothers? Thank you for sharing! This is all so interesting to me.

How did you find a picture of my great great grandfather Robert Lee Loy? This is so fantastic - my father who has childhood memories of him confirmed that is in fact him. Where would I find a photo of his wife, Issabelle? Thank you,
Courtney (Loy) Hammond

RE: Scam e-mails
Somebody hacked my e-mail account. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. The account is now locked and shouldn't be able to send anymore messages, at least for a while.

RE: Carrie Engle
Craig, Neither of the names you gave me helped to find Carrie. Her daughter is not listed nor her sister. Sadly they must not of had stones, so loss of records in 1930 leaves them not listed. I am sorry not to of found your loved one!
