Bio and Links
Bio Photo I first discovered this site when I was researching descendants through one of the proven "royalty" lines. I was interested in finding where some of these individuals were buried and was hoping to visit England in the near future.

My England trip has not panned out yet, but I did discover that I liked this site due to the fact that an individual could be personalized by adding photos, taking pictures of headstones, and adding bios. I felt this somehow draws you in closer to the person. I love the fact that you can leave notes also.

I have told everyone that I know about this site and I and some friends have been doing all we can to document some of our local cemeteries. We have completed our local cemeteries and have expanded into some of our surrounding communities. We have met some very nice people due to this project. We also post all of the local obits to FAG if the obit states which cemetery they are located in.

We also volunteer to put out flags on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. It only takes a few hours, and, let's face it, some of these guys can use the help. They are always so grateful, and the ceremonies are always beautiful.

I would also like to thank the volunteers who take time to take pictures of headstones for me at cemeteries that I will probably never get to see. Recently, I found where one of my fathers relatives was buried, and a volunteer took a picture of the grave. I do appreciate each and every one of you!

I encourage everyone to adopt a cemetery, scour the local papers for obits, and tell all their friends and neighbors about this site. Everyone benefits!

Happy Hunting!!!

Bickerstaff, Marion and Elizabeth
Marion Bickerstaff #14031164 and Elizabeth Bickerstaff #14031158 are my 3rd great grandparents and I have researched them for years. On the find a grave page you have made a mistake that needs to be fixed. You have shown the 1870 census in Fannin Texas for a Marion Biggerstaff and wife Elizabeth that is not this Marion and Elizabeth Bickerstaff. You may notice that my Marion and Elizabeth are only 2 years different in age and the 1870 census marion and Elizabeth are 15 years apart. Also you have linked my Marion to a father who is not his. I am requesting that you remove the incorrect 1870 census from my Marion's file and also unlink him to the Judge Biggerstaff because that is not his father.

James P. Mims
If you are not related to James P Mims in the Union Cemetery, Kern County CA, would you be so kind as to transfer his memorial to me (Find A Grave#25321505)? He is my gg-grandfather. Please forgive me if I have requested this before! Too many names in my brain! Thank you!

Redfield Family
Re: Ida Marie Redfield Knauer Medlen
Would you be willing to give me what history you have for Ida. Believe she was the oldest child of Wm & Mary Redfield. I know you are related thru her brother so you may not have any history of her. Here is some of what I have...She married my great uncle, Louis Medlen (Medlin) in 1913. They got their marriage license in St. Louis MO and then lived out their lives in Tulsa, Tulsa Co, OK. Louis died before Ida and I lost track of her. She had been listed for years in the Tulsa City Directory even after Louis died but then she disappeared and I looked for her for many years and out of the blue I found she is buried in Guthrie, OK. I don't know much about her first husband Albert Knauer but I know they had a son, Loran who died young and he lived with Ida's parents for several years. I have wondered what the story was there of why she didn't have care of her son. I have a picture of her and Louis that I would share with you. Please email me at your earliest convenience: sally52743@yahoo.com

Fred and Geraldine Piercy
Hi,

I am looking for relatives of Fred and Geraldine Piercy, I was wondering if you knew any of their children. I see that you entered Geraldine's maiden name of McColgan, I was hoping if you didn't know them personally if you knew of the obituary I could look at for more information. Thank you, Amy

RE: Re: Vince Jordan - Rockbridge
I'll send them on to you.
I have another one I am working on, but will never get it as long as folks put on spouses that are still living. I have 7 in one cemetery were spouse is alive. What's really annoying is that they are younger than I am.
Happy Researching, Bud

RE: Re: Vince Jordan - Rockbridge
Hey there.
All excited, I found them all. The last one was in wrong cemetery, but only a few miles away, Elvina Juhan in Holt-Juhan cemetery. I did it back in 2007.
I added a few here in this cemetery. Would you like to take charge of them?

RE: Re: Vince Jordan - Rockbridge
Neat, I printed it out and found that he started in the back right hand side as you stand on the street sidewalk.
He read the row from right to left, but the headstones in the sectioned off plots he went left to right. The first two rows were okay, but then he scrambled the next two. Been fun walking it the way he did. Hoping to find the missing graves places.
Oh, also, he did the right hand side, new side, first.
It was cold, so I only did the new side so far.
But, still enjoying getting out again.
Best regards, Bud

Good Morning Diana.
Thanks for the link and I will check it out.
I have followed you around for many years now. Loved doing that because you have been wonderful at it. Love posting photos, but, not putting memorials on. Too much hand work. ;-)
I have been trying to get the photo numbers in the cemeteries around me up to 100%. Cemeteries I can walk easy.
Love the puppy too. Bud
