Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 2nd grade school teacher and am happy to photograph and/or research your ancestors with you by looking for tombstones and even contacting cemetery sextons for information. I live in Grant, Newaygo County, MI, USA and am able to access cemeteries in Newaygo County quite easily. I don't even mind if I have to clean up tombstones that may be covered with fungus, my bucket of tools is in my trunk :). My biggest challenge is the other volunteers who also live in the area and get the claims often before I do :)
I am married [26 years] with four children [2 sets of twins]. Our daughters are 22 and our sons are 19. They are all fraternal. I look forward to hearing from any other researchers.

RE: Pasma connection
I was researching my family and came across the name Gerald Mumper. He is living and is my 5th cousin. We have never met. His name appeared in an obituary for Lester Earl Pasma, Sr. Too, Gerald is (or was) husband to Penny Louise Pasma. They had three children. Penny's mom and dad were Earl (likely Junior) and Elva Jean (Find A Grave Memorial# 60088551). I believe Lester was Penny's grandfather. You may know better. Once one gets into genealogy, it can take off in many directions. The how's and whys of my Pasma entries and tributes are lost to time. I can only relate to the Mumper-Pasma connection above and suggest that it might have been the catalyst. No other Pasmas appear in our tree. Best wishes in your research. If you want the two Pasmas I have contributed transferred to you, let me know.

Gary Mumper

RE: Carver / Perry family
I'm sorry that I only found this message. Mary's father is buried what is called Dorset Ridge. It's somewhat difficult to locate if you aren't familiar. I do have the person's name for more information and will send that to you. His name was Nelsen Carver (1818 Canada)& died Monroe Co. (Wilton/Kendall area) 1870. His wife was Elizabeth Wilson Carver. I think you know that my Grandmother, Louisa, was the twin sister of Lois Moran. I am the youngest of 4 children of Abner Gammon. My brother, Dr. James G. has identical twin sons. Happy New Year!

Tolcutt Patchen Dake
Hi Scott:
You are right there is no tombstone for him in Bull Cemetery, but there is one for wife Vashti Louise Hayes Dake with just T. P. Dake as her husband on her stone.
Please see Find A
Tolcutt Patchen Dake #71625507
Vashti Louisa Hayes Dake #10024525

Tolcutt P. Dake was brother of my 2nd great grandmother Lydia Colby Dake Babcock buried in Bull Cemetery. She was married to Elial Babcock. They had son Henry Truman Babcock m. Tilla V. Pope, Billings. Had Elfa Rose Babcock, Foster, Monks my grandmother b. in Allyton-White Cloud, Newaygo Co., MI.

I believe we have communicated on genealogy of ancestors in Newaygo Co., MI. in the past.

I will write Tamara and tell her I have a lot of
Dake information.

Harry Dunlap
There are 2 grave stones close to Harry that have the name's Mary and William. They look to be the daughter and son of Harry and Elsie, but I can hardly make out the readings. I will send you an email to your yahoo account and I will attach the 2 grave stones to that email. I can not find any stones that would pertain to Elsie.
