I have often been told that I am a rather odd sort for enjoying spending time at cemeteries. I enjoy doing this because I am interested in preserving our past and I believe cemeteries are definitely a starting place.|
At this time, I would also like to express that my involvement with Find A Grave is NEVER to upset anyone. It is purely to be able to provide a place for us to honor those we love and provide information for those who are trying to find their family, friends and loved ones. If I have entered someone you wish not be part of Find A Grave, I will gladly remove them as soon as I get a chance.
I do manage a number of memorials on this website and I have no problem transferring those individuals to family or friends who will do a better job providing the loving care they deserve. I look at Find A Graves "guidelines" as suggestions, not the all end of all rules and the world is going to end if we do not follow them.
On that note, I would also like to let everyone know that I work a full-time job and Find A Gave is a hobby for me. I am trying to do my best to keep up with all of the emails and information sent to me. Unfortunatly, I am not doing a very good job. If you have sent a request or information to me in the past and I have not responded to you, I kindly ask you send the request to me again.
I hope I have not offended anyone and everyone realizes I enjoy participating in this forum to honor our families, friends, and our past.

Thanks for the heads up. This was my cousin's mother. I had thought I had already removed this memorial, I know it had a typo in the last name.

Hi! I am new to doing geneology. I noticed that you posted a picture of Cressie Johnson's grave stone but not Jewel Johnson's. Does Jewel not have one? If she does ... could you post a picture of it for me?

Is a memorial you created back in 2006 and transferred to me. I have problem with a question. After you transferred his memorial to me, I made a volunteer photo request. The request was just recently answered and came back as nothing found. My question to you is, did you enter him from written records and his resting place unmarked, or did you actually lay eyes on his rating place and marker to make his entry? I know asking you to reach back that far is asking a lot from you but I have no one else to turn to on this matter as I am in Texas.
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this situation.

Please consider the following: please delete memorial 24395042. It is the same person as 8958457, Sarah Frances Abston, daughter of Jesse H. and Sarah F Abston, was the second wife of Daniel Marion Stimson. The small grave markers to the side of this monument are for several of her children. Thanks for your work.

Hello, I was wondering if you would allow us to use your picture in our family tree? We happily cite both the photographer and Find A Grave as our source for pictures we didn't personally take but are allowed to use. Thank you so much for considering our request. S
