Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a school librarian and I became very interested in genealogy about 21 years ago. I am actively researching my father's family -- HEMMES -- from New York City (especially Staten Island.) I would be happy to help with photographs of graves on Staten Island.

Walter Copeland and Mae DiDonato
I transferred Walter to you, and I deleted Mae's duplicate memorial. I also added the picture of her headstone to the original memorial.

Giuseppe Barile
Ciaburri family
Hi. My name is Maria Barile, and live in England.
I would like to ask you for some help. In the last few months i have been trying to trace my grandmothers family, in america.
Her name was Margherita Ciaburri. She was born in Ginestra degli Schiavoni, Benevento in 1895. She had two brothers:
Fredinando and Celestino Ciaburri, that imigrated to America between the first world war 1917 more or less, in which my grandmother always spoke about. Unfortunantly they never returned to their home land, so gran never saw them ever again. She missed them so much and i always remember has a child how she spoke about them dearly. My gran died in 5 january 1992 at the age of 97, bless her.
Fortunatly, we found the memorial of Ferdinando Ciaburri in New Dorp Richmond County (Staten Island) New York, USA Plot: 8619.
It was very emotional for me, he's my father's uncle. My father's name is Sinibaldo Riccio and is Margherita Ciaburri's son, until this day my father is still alive, he was 90 on the 1st of March 2014.
I would be very grateful if you have any information regarding the Ciaburri family, i would love to contact my fathers cousins that i imagine are still alive, hopefully could you pass on any information you have of this family.

Many thanks for your time reading this.

You're welcome!

The system must have had a toddler fit that day. It happens.
