I have a passion for photography and genealogy as well! I am slowly going to all of the cemetery(s) in our local area and photographing all headstones and updating them to this website.|
Also -- another FindAGrave contributor wrote this... I think it says it all:
Please note: This is NOT a numbers game, Nor a "who has who" game here. Some of us are serious about getting names & photos of headstones that are not going to be around and making memorial pages. That is what this is about, making/recording that person lived and died. Like many, I spend long, long hours either in a cemetery, or adding memorial pages to Findagrave.com. I would love to see some of the headstones of family members that were in the 1700 & 1800 of my family, but that isn't going to happen as many are gone.
It doesn't matter who has the memorial page, the important thing is that someone cared enough to make a memorial page to honor that person and that is what findagrave.com is all about. Honoring the deceased, NOT who has what memorial or how many that they have. Thanks!

|Susan Mccay||William R. Clark|
I did delete the memorial that I had made for him.
|Susan Mccay||William R. Clark #59229478|
Crystal, I recently received an email from a fellow findagrave member. I had made a memorial for William R. Clark thinking he might be buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. This findagrave member called attention to the memorial you have made for William.
I did some edits and would like you to approve them. I added his parents, and changed his middle initial and his birth and death dates. You can see on his gravestone the correct birth and death dates.
Thank you. Susan He is part of my genealogy so I sponsored his memorial. Thank you.
|Barbara Chisler||Maggie Whipple|
Did you know you have two memorials for her?
|Joyce Petty Adams||Emma Byrd 60282828|
I was wondering if you were related to Emma and Jonathan Byrd? Jonathan is my 2nd great grand uncle and Emma is his wife. I have been working on family research.
|Kathryn Haenggi Robinett||"Add names" thank you|
Thanks for adding the names to Heinrich Ludwig Christian "Louis" Uhde's memorial - some of those good old German names were long ones! And, thanks for your findagrave work!
|Kathryn Haenggi Robinett||Thanks for links|
Thanks for connecting Harold Uhde and his sister Katherine McFadin to their parents, thus completing the Herman Uhde family on findagrave! I am a niece of Herman's first wife Kunigunde who passed away so young.
|Kathryn Haenggi Robinett||Thank You!|
Thank you for adding the maiden name of Christine Uhde!
|Virginia||Robin B. Robinson|
Can you correct the date of death in find-a-grave for him. It states 1963 but tombstone says 1983? Thanks!

|Elaine (Moody) Root||Esther Chamberlain|
I just left some edits for Esther Chamberlain 1801-1858 #60399905.
My ancestor Esther (Russell) Chamberlain lived and died in Posey County, IN with similar birth and death dates. But her husband's name did not start with a W. His name was Isreal Chamberlain. I notice a boy and girl buried with her but neither are my person's children. Do you think I have the wrong person? I find it hard to believe there are two women of the same name and age in Posey county.
