|On the Trail||Confederate Dead of General Hospital Danville Va|
I hope you are doing well. Just wondering if you have any idea where a Confederate burial would be for a man who died at General Hospital Danville, Va? I am looking for Pvt William B Langston (or any variation thereof) Co K 16th GA Inf.
William enlisted in Confederate service July 15, 1861 at Columbia County, GA. Company K 16th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry, and died at General Hospital, Danville, Va on September 5, 1862.
I do not live in Va and have no idea where the Confederate dead of Danville were buried during this time. Any lead/info appreciated.

Just an FYI, I noticed you are a descendant of the above Mrs. Youmans in Pierce Co, Ga. This evening I found her obituary in the Waycross Herald, Sep. 24, 1892 edition, page 3! It is at her memorial. Hope this helps. Have a blessed day.

Thanks for the transfer. And, if someone more closely related comes along, I'd be happy to pass along the favor. Again, thanks. ~~Carol

Thanks for posting the Grave Site.
can you tell me the location within the cemetery?
|Jean Virag-Baker||George M. Baker|
For memorial # 20446421.
Can you please advise how you came to include the two children listed. Where did you find this information?
Spouse of George M. Baker was Sarah J. Baker. The two children listed are Peter Thomas Baker and John Wm. Baker.
|David Gladwell||Pvt Joseph A McClung (18728815)|
Scott, the McClung Genealogy of 1904 says that J A McClung with the same birth/death dates as Joseph A should be James Archibald McClung. His 2nd wife was Elizabeth Kyle McClung (111401704). Is it possible that the first name Joseph is in error?

May I suggest, and I don't know the rules of Find A Grave for this, but instead of deleting put in in brackets right after UVA[school has no record of this student--DougB81042@gmail.com]. If this is an ancestor of this person I would really like to talk to them.
