The small graveyard is on private property out side Elkton, I don't remember their name but they were very nice in letting me take a few pictures.I had to go to the library in Elkton and they have records of all graves in Todd Co. now would be the time to go weeds dormant and snakes not out yet.

Hi, the death date according to the Kentucky stats is 1874 which is different from the 1871 mentioned in your entry. I am new to all of this so I don't know how to edit the entry, perhaps you may want to do so. Thanks. Lorrie Alves

Thanks for your very nice note in regards to updating info on William Toler and his wife. I believe that 'Walton' is probably Polly's middle name but as I don't have the info at my fingertips I am making an assumption that Smith was her maiden name. If I get back around to William and Polly in my paper work then I will get you the info. As to the relation of William and Polly. That family is part of my Mother's grandmother AND grandfather's family. Kin on both sides...as it were. Seems that if you go back far enough there is kin that ends up being kin and then they get married. Believe this is what happened in my Great grandparents line. At any rate, my Great grandmother's parents were Joshua Toler and his wife, Sally Jane Duncan whom my Mother was named after. Joshua was the brother to Joseph "Big Daddy" Towler. So William Toler goes back even further than that...that is why I have to look it up. Will let you know...always working in and through all of this for my ancestors. Thanks for getting back to me. Thanks for you hard work...slow is a lot better than never, I always say.
