Did you know or are you related to Marie? I worked with her for many years at the hospital. What a Joy. Rosalie
|Amy Harbin Jordan||Charles Henry Gardiner|
Hi Tom, Charles (my 3rd ggfather) falls off the record after the civil war and I've never found any info on he and his wife beyond his service in the Civil War. I'm wondering if you are certain he is buried in this cemetery. If so how did you come to know this? Thanks for helping fill in some holes!
|Linda||Rachel Ann Gustin Wysong|
Can you tell me more about Rachel?
Do you have any documentation for her birthdate?
I have a different one.
Also she remarried after John Wysong.
Do you have proof that she is burried in Woodland Cem and Arboretum?

|J. Kelsey Jones||Samuel Knapp Gustin - Hannah Wortendyke|
Tom, I have added two infant sons of Samuel Knapp Gustin and Hannah Wortendyke to Glenwood Cemetery in Troy, Pennsylvania not previously recorded. Photographs included.
Howard Gustin and his wife are buried in the Plain Township Cemetery, Wood County, Ohio.
I just entered them at that cemetery but will remove my entry and let you add the cemetery.
|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

I received this message from this kind woman regarding Maria's husband's whereabouts....
7:48 PM (13 hours ago)
I just recently sent for an obituary for "William Hunter" who died in Wood County, Ohio, 08 Jan 1889, which I am hoping will provide more detail.
Both of William's wives and some of his children are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green, Ohio, but I noticed some older burials up to 1880 in the extended family of his 2nd wife, Mary Elizabeth (Grannis) McCrory/McCrary (1841-1920), widow of John McCrory (1819-1873), had the notation "moved from old cemetery," so I can't be absolutely certain where William may be buried.
Ancestry.com: Ohio Obituary Index, 1830s-2011, Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center indicates the "Clyde Enterprise" (Clyde, Sandusky County, Ohio), issue of 10 Jan 1889, page 3, column 2, carried the obituary, and I will e-mail you whatever information it contains when it arrives.
|Eric Holmes||Mary Carolyn Hoot-Schrock|
Trying to find more information about my Grandmother Mary Schrock (11-1-1910 to 8-15-1999) I was told her grandfather was Augustus Hoot, who fought in the civil war. Her parents were Elias Hoot and Sarah Belle Stillwell. I know she had a twin sister who died as a toddler. She was related to John hoot, and Rex Hoot. I also remember a Netha, and even a Henry Hoot. Mary's Death Cert. says she was born in Mackinac City. We have been to the Lakeview Cemetery in Mackinac City and found Augustus Hoot's grave marker next to a John C. Stilwell and Nellie C. Stilwell. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
