Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Texas, traveled a lot as a child when my mother re-married a Navy man, moved back to Texas, married and later moved to Florida where I got stuck and have remained. I have three children and five granddaughters and one grandson who is DS and the most precious baby you could ever meet as he is bright and smart and brings a whole lot of joy to us all with his almost ever smile. I just became a great grandmother to a boy in November 2012. Dang I'm getting old.

I joined FAG to make memorials to my parents and other family members and friends and that led me to start looking how all my relatives were tied together, which can be quite an under taking but very interesting when you really get into it and are able to link them together. This should be a great source of information if everyone tries to do that with their family members and it's really great you have people researching cemetary's and taking pictures of headstones but I'm not into seeing how many graves I can post of people I don't know, but do appreciate the ones that do that and post them on here.

Transfers
Hello Lynda,
I saw your message on Jim Tipton's profile regarding transfers. Have read the site's policy on transfers? If not, you can read it here. Please note only those relationships specifically listed in the second item are required transfers. All other relationships (aunts, uncles and cousins to any degree) are solely at the discretion of the memorial manager. Here on Find A Grave, we refer to those as 'Out Of Guidelines' (or OOG). Some contributors no longer reply to OOG requests as saying "No" often results in abusive messages from the requester, who fails to understand the above referenced policy. If you do not receive a reply, just let it go and submit any additions/corrections via the Edit tab > Suggest A Correction feature.

RE: Memorial 56628565
Lynda,

These have been transferred to you. Thank you for going through the edit. I have had requests where the memorial number provided had a typo and I transferred the wrong memorial.

Thanks!
Vicki

RE: Memorials
It looks like you just want to start an argument, sorry I won't do that. Take your argument to Findagrave, Thanks

RE: Memorials
You are the only person in the 5 years + i have been doing this, to say that. I will delete anyone when asked, no reason required. I only list if no death date and birth date is before 1930. I have found out over the years that most of these are buried and the family did not place a death date on the memorial stone, with very few exceptions. I rather list, than not have them listed. I can easily delete when requested. Have only had one request to do that.

RE: Memorial 56628565
Lynda,

I am more than happy to transfer any memorials to you. However, can you make the request through the edit option of the memorials? I want to make sure I am transferring the right persons to you.

Thanks!

Vicki

RE: your father
I'm afraid you'll need to be more specific, such as his name or memorial number.

RE: Managers
Hi,

Memorial 'owners' can edit and delete all of the data related to a memorial but they can't delete flowers that others have left. If you're having trouble editing information on one of memorials, please make sure that you are logged in and that the account you are logged in as is listed as the manager of the memorial.
