LOCATION: 9/1/13 I've moved to the South Shore of Mass. and will be there until the end of May 2014 - this will make it more difficult for me to fulfull requests in the Boston area, but I will do what I can while I'm in the area working. :)|
**** Please have patience when making your requests - during the New England winter months, photo requests will take longer to fill while there's snow on the ground - Thank you :) ****
I recently found this on another members profile and found how truly it expresses how I feel as well:
"The life of a person is more than the dash between two dates. It is my hope that the memorials which I create or manage can make the individuals life fuller, even if just linking to family members or adding a few tidbits of information. Researching and including other family information makes them more than graves, they are people."
There is quiet dignity and history among the trees, headstones, flowers and water fountains in the cemeteries - respect has been earned.
I'm searching for information for the following Families: Lavash, Lavache, Hynes, Higgins, Donohoe,Bursey, Bradbury, Brown, Demeo, Hayes, Sawin. I've been researching my roots for over 15 years and have now started to record cemeteries for others.
I've also started adding any Irish and Canadians that I come across, in tribute to my ancesters, military graves & any children that I find - they seem to be the hardest to find & I'm recording them as I find them.
This is an abbreviated list of cemeteries that I have visited so far - I've visited some of these because I have family members there -
Belmont Cemetery - Belmont, MA
Calvary Cemetery & Maus. - Waltham, MA
Cambridge Cemetery - Cambridge, MA
Common Street Cemetery - Watertown, MA
Cudworth Cemetery - Scituate, MA
Evergreen Cemetery - Marboro, Ma
Evergreen Cemetery - Leominster, MA
Grove Hill Cemetery - Waltham, MA
Highland Meadow Cemetery - Belmont, MA
Holy Cross Cemetery & Maus. - Malden, MA
Mt. Auburn Cemetery - Watertown/Cambridge, MA
Mt. Feake Cemetery - Waltham, MA
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery - Arlington, MA
Westview Cemetery, Bedford, MA
North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery - Cambridge, MA
Olde Burying Place - Arlington, MA
Old Burying Ground, AKA Ye Olde Burying Ground in Lexington, MA
Old Burying Place - Watertown, MA
Puritan Lawn Cemetery - Peabody, Ma
Ridgelawn Cemetery - Watertown, MA
St. Pauls Cemetery - Arlington, MA
St. Patricks Cemetery - Watertown, MA
Woodlawn Cemetery & Crem. - Everett, MA
and a few others.
I normally photograph the whole family plot if it's more than a single grave & will post those as well.
Thank you to Linda Shepard Salzer for all her pics, corrections and updates for all the memorials that I set up for North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery - I greatly appreciate it :)

First and formost, I am so sorry that I am so late in thanking you for the wonderful pictures. They have added a whole new aspect to my records.
I have been very ill for a while now and am only now getting a chance to get back to my work on my grandson's family. While at age 14 he doesn't care about what grandma is working on, I can only hope that someday he will enjoy it.
In looking at the close up picture, I see a name of a Mary on it. By any chance did you notice if that was a wife, sister or even mother? I know his mother was named Mary, but because the close up cuts off before I can read more, I don't know the connection.
Weather here is...miserable. We have a 30 base of snow over everything with five and six foot piles where it's been shoveled. My daughter lives in Boston, so I know you are probably just as heavy in the "white pollution" department.
Again, thank you so much, and my sincere apologies. Diane

Sharon, TX so much for taking time to photograph the Dana Grave for me. Much appreciated!
|Linda Guynup Dewey||Maud Mallory Brown|
Thank you for transferring Maud. Am fascinated by someone who married for the first time when she was well over 60.
Noticed that you "collect" Browns. Wouldn't it be delightful if her husband were one of yours!

Snow is a wonderful background for dark marker. After I clicked through requests, checked New England weather and realized that there probably wouldn't be any volunteers digging through drift until spring.
Thank you so much!
You're a brave gal taking photo's in the snow. Unbelievable! It doesn't appear photo's are taken unless you are the one doing it. Thanks for letting me know.

May I have your permission to download the images of the gravestone of William Bentley Fowle (Memorial# 114453177)?
I would like to upload them into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

You're most welcome! I enjoyed it too -- can almost see her in her heliotrope dress, with violets.
