I've been an active genealogist for 20+ years. I'm currently researching the surnames Lunsford, Linville, Norris, Ferguson, Meador, Cole, Williams, Tully, Byrn, Greenhaw, Yates, and Morelock.
I'm an avid cemetery transcriptionist simply because I believe everyone deserves to be remembered.

|Mark Lackey||James Anderson Lackey|
I have found that you have added the name of James Anderson Lackey and Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Lackey to my 3rd Great Grand Uncles memorial on Find-A-Grave. This addition is INCORRECT and I am contacting you to ask you to remove their names as they are connected with the wrong person(s). You have chosen the wrong Alexander & Margaret Lackey as James Anderson Lackey's and Benjamin Franklin Lackey's parents.
I am the head of our family Cemetery & Heritage Foundation in Alexander County, North Carolina and I have sent you an e-mail with an attached document that shows the ACTUAL TRUE children of Alexander & Margaret Lackey that are buried in the Lackey-Thompson Cemetery on Lackey Mountain Road in Hiddenite, N.C. I maintain this and three other old family cemeteries in the area and my records are correct on this relative of mine. I am our family's Genealogist and Historian and have been contributing to and keeping these records for over 47 years so I am positive beyond any doubt that my records are correct.
Your Alexander was from South Carolina which is an entirely separate line of Lackeys. I have that genealogy as well and it is well documented. My Alexander was Born and died in Alexander County, North Carolina and his wife Margaret Kelton was born in neighboring Burke County, North Carolina and died in Alexander County. They are both buried together in this old family cemetery as you can see the photos of their markers at this link to the memorial page for Alexander: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=49287723
Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.

After much research and investigation, I found Sarah's father, Felix Pleasant Tully's grave. Here is his memorial# 109808858
My next goal is to attempt to find Didema's as well as William Britton Tully and Sarah Ann Sally Hawkins graves in the next month or so. Wish me luck on that endeavor :-)
|Darwin Concon||Sallie Belle Cole|
I wanted to let you know I've taken a mtDNA test and got a positive match for Sallie's great grandmother Sarah Ann Sally Hawkins. I've also added a family photo of Sallie, husband, children and other relatives you might find interesting. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=35787812
