I love exploring and photographing old cemeteries in Maine. I am especially familiar with Androscoggin, Cumberland, Hancock, and York counties. I am a Greater Portland History docent and a member of SpiritsAlive.com, the overseers of Eastern Cemetery in Portland, Maine|

Thank you so much for the lovely picture of their headstone and the graveyard. This side of my family goes all the way back before the American Revolution. Sylvanus B Cook is my 1st cousin 5 times removed but I knew I would probably never get back to Maine to take a photo and I wanted to see the headstone and verify their dates of birth and death. You gave me all the information I needed. Thanks again for all your efforts on getting me these photos!

Many many thanks for the gift of those fine photos of the two Bell headstones at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland, ME.
I had hoped to travel to that area to visit the graves and take pictures, but as I am confined to a wheelchair and unable to drive, travel isn't always easy.
Several years back I had the Ellen Bell stone completely redone and to my delight it looks fine in your picture.
I also added some information under the Annie O. Bell inscriptions and they look great also.
Your efforts are much appreciated and will be a welcomed addition to my family history project and Find A Grave account.
God Bless you for such thoughtfullness.
All the best,

Please look at the memorial for Lillian Berdeen. You, yourself took the photo of the headstone. Right next to it, is the headstone for Adelaide & the Jensens. I can see it on the memorial. - Annabelle

Thank you for the photograph of Rosena's headstone, Ben. From your photo I also found her husband, Frederick Warren Smith, who is also my cousin. This is not the first time you've helped me out. Truly grateful for your efforts.

Thank you so much for seeking out the gravesite and taking a photo. I had no idea the grave was unmarked. Thank you very much.
